Hello Slickdeals community,
Woke up this morning and got this email from Starbucks for being a Starbucks Chase (prepaid) holder aka die hard fans of Starbucks. The email is titled, "Get festive with free coffee on the weekends"
Good for any sizes and any types of drinks. I did a test run on an Iced Machiatto (yes I do drink iced drinks during the "cold" 70 degree weather in AZ

) and Irish Cold Foam Cold Brew both separate time, and each time the code works. As usual, only "certain stores participate", therefore, most likely only corporate Starbucks stores are participating in this promo.
Corporate Starbucks stores = not in Target, Bashas, airports, universities, etc.
Even if you didn't get an email, put something in your Starbucks app, and see if the offer/ coupon show up in the "review order" screen.
Just remember, you can only use it twice for Friday, Saturday and Sunday combined. Therefore, either space it out, get a free drink once for two days or twice in a day if you're so inclined.
The offer might be loaded directly on your Starbucks App.
So with this offer, and free tall coffee, iced coffee for medical professionals, I think I'll be all set for every Friday, Saturday and Sunday till the end of this year.

"Warm up your weekends with drinks on us. Every
weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) through
December 27, 2020 enjoy any two free coffees, teas
or handcrafted drinks. Choose two faves for
yourself, or gift one to a friend to make their
holiday a little brighter.
You can redeem your free coffee when you order
ahead with the Starbucks app. Just ask for your
order in the designated pick up area or drive thru
window. Cheers to being a Starbucks®
Rewards Visa® Cardholder."
Terms and Conditions:
You will receive (2) coupons, each valid for one free coffee, tea or handcrafted beverage (any standard menu size). Coupons may be redeemed at participating Starbucks stores. Product selection varies by location. You may use each coupon one time; unused coupons do not carry over.
Chase is not responsible for the provision of, or failure to provide, the benefits and services related to the coupon awarded by Starbucks. Coupon will post directly to your Starbucks® Rewards account and will not appear on your credit card statement.
The value of this offer or program may result in miscellaneous income received from Chase and we may be required to send you, and file with the IRS, a Form 1099-MISC (Miscellaneous Income) or Form 1042-S (Foreign Person's U.S. Source Income Subject to Withholding) for the year in which you participate and are awarded the benefits of the offer/program. You are responsible for any tax liability related to participating in the offer program. Please consult your personal tax advisor if you have any questions about how this could affect your taxes. To be eligible for this offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment.

There are better cards out there for sure... but for die hard Starbucks fans..
I originally got the prepaid version because you'll get 150 stars first time you used it.
150 stars = you can get any drink, any size and customizations. It used to be for 150 stars you can redeem any food or a pound of coffee back then and now it's 250 stars or more I believe.
Another benefits of the prepaid card is your stars never expired. Those are the only two I can think. I mean free is free to me
Since this is a prepaid Visa card, you cannot load Starbucks card onto to it, however, you can load money from the prepaid Visa card to the Starbucks card.

Am I eligible or must you have both?
Is it the Starbucks giftcard ( My gold card) that my Starbucks rewards account is linked to??
