Thanks for posting. Was actually just looking at this chair yesterday at full price. I desperately needed a new chair and a coworker had this one that I saw on a zoom call and I liked the looks of it.

I upgraded to this chair from a Hyken recently. I'm a bigger guy, so the more space is nice, but this chair requires you to lean back further in order to use the back rest, which is not ideal for working at a desk for me. It also does not lock in the tilt as well as the Hyken. Because of this, I ended up making a Frankenstein's monster of a chair by taking the mechanism and back section from the Hyken and putting it on the Dexley base and seat, which turned out to be great for me. I'd recommend that you try this out in store before buying if possible.

Have had this chair maybe 6 weeks or so now and everything has been great other than it has started squeaking a bit and sometimes I'll find that the chair has dropped about an inch or so and I have to raise it back up. I'm 6'2 and 220lbs for reference and this fits me much better than the Hyken
Does the seat adjust forward and back?

Not to my knowledge. The WorkPro Quantum 9000 from Office Depot does though I believe but it's more expensive. My company used those in the offices and id say they're worth the $400. I haven't done much research into similarly priced chairs to the Dexley though so there might be an option that's cheaper that has what you're looking for

It sounds like your particular unit is defective? I would reach out to the manufacturer to address the issues.

The Hyken is $20 more what is the difference between them? I believe it was said the Hyken is "wider" but I don't know anything beyond that

I agree with this post. The head rest is a joke unless your trying to "nap" in the chair and the lean is a real problem. I had to tighten the tension on it all the way and add a foam lumbar support as I like leaning against my chairs and this was killing me back. You really need to try it in stores before you buy!

Yes my store had no problems with that just rolled in with it 2 months ago. They'll just ask for order number

This chair is junk. Less than 3 months and it fell apart for me. The seat mesh started coming apart from the frame.

I bought this about a month into covid working from home. A few weeks later I bought one for my wife. She likes to sit on her feet and can't with this chair so meh from her.

3 of my coworkers have now bought them, and one got one for his wife as well. Just last month 2 of my gamer friends bought them from my recommendation.

This is one of the best chairs out there for the money, and I've got a bad L4 and scoliosis at my T3/4.
