I got this from the last deal, same price; the lumbar support/pad is pushing forward too much. I think it gave me a lower back pain. Now wondering what to do with it!
Maybe take a hacksaw to the 2 arms that attach to the backrest. Looks like it's an integral part but if your going to get rid of it I would try that. Or sell it!

I upgraded to this chair from a Hyken recently. I'm a bigger guy, so the more space is nice, but this chair requires you to lean back further in order to use the back rest, which is not ideal for working at a desk for me. It also does not lock in the tilt as well as the Hyken. Because of this, I ended up making a Frankenstein's monster of a chair by taking the mechanism and back section from the Hyken and putting it on the Dexley base and seat, which turned out to be great for me. I'd recommend that you try this out in store before buying if possible.
Great post. A lot of valuable information. Thanks.

Bought this last time it was posted and very happy with it. 6'3" and around 280lbs and it's definitely big guy friendly. Arm rests are adjustable up and down and fit me and my desk comfortably at the highest level. I think they're adjustable in and out but you have to loosen the screws underneath. I actually like the head rest and when laying back in the chair, it does make a difference. Very happy with it and would recommend.

have brought this in the previous deal and returning.
the mesh seat is not very confirmable, cuts my leg circulations in the middle of the leg (front section of the seat have a foam which is causing the problem).
this deal have come very often and i start to think it may be a sponsored offer.

How does this compare to Hyken?

https://www.staples.com/Staples-H...uct_990119 [staples.com]
I've had the Hyken since April 2020 and we just recently bought my wife this Dexley from Quill this weekend (I bought it $150 on sale so I hate that I missed this sale). After putting the Dexley together I definitely feel like the Hyken is a lot more comfortable for me anyways. I can lock the Hyken into different lean positions which the Dexley can not do. It only has one bar that raises and lowers and if you pull the bar out you can lean back but it only reclines back and forth and you can't lock it into a specific position. I've been really happy with my Hyken and I'm a hefty 250 lb. I work all day in it then usually game on the xbox after that through the evening.

The plastic is VERY uncomfortable. I'm 6' 4" and find the headrest useless. I returned this bc I'm more comfortable on a cheap, padded kitchen table chair.

I 100% suggest you pass.

I actually returned it - SO uncomfortable and it sat pretty high (couldn't get as low to the floor as I liked). I got another chair from Staples that was less than half the price. It may not last ten years, but it's not killing my lower back.

I can second this, the lumbar pad keeps moving and won't sit at one place. I am 6' and the lumbar keeps getting pushed down.

I've had this chair since July. As a non-tall person under 6', I like it and it works well, but have to agree that I'm not a huge fan of the lumbar pad as mentioned in one of the top comments. Been considering getting a back and seat cushion to make it a little more comfortable.
