I'm interested in this kit but am concerned about the cameras being able to reach the home base. I wish they could operate on your existing wifi as well
You can have two home base units running at the same time and they can be wired or wireless back to your existing WiFi network.

How do we recharge these if these mounted on wall siding ? TIA
Its funny, I was trying to figure out the same thing, then I found this, its a motion flood light with a camera mount. Looks like it'll work with a bunch of generic wireless camera and charge it. I'm not sure how water proof it is.. the side looks like its just a regular usb input

I opted for this setup too, from what I have read, the camera should outlive the non replaceable LED and its controller. This LED mount is cheaper to replace than the whole set.

I want to pull the trigger on this, but does anyone know what happens when the battery doesn't hold a charge anymore? My main concern is the battery since it's not removable like the Ring or Arlo. I might go with ring because of this.

Aside from wireless capability.

Is there a significant upgrade over these vs the indoor wired 2k cams?

I currently have a few wyze cams outside under eves and they work with no issues, just don't care for them anymore.

Since I already have wired ability, wireless is not a must a d I am sure the eufy cams would be covered enough from the weather. Also have motion lights so, the camera light not necessary.

For what it's worth I have a 2k wifi eufy doorbell and homebase already.

You replace the whole camera. There may be ways to replace the battery as the cameras get older and people find ways to open and replace it.
