It works fine on my iPhone. Been playing my Xbox streaming using Xbox controller connected via BT to iPhone.
The original Bluetooth does the 2020 Series X|S controller does not. I have one and have to play with it still connected to the Xbox. There tons of Reddit threads on it along with it listed on apple's website https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210414. If you're getting this (2020 controller) you're going to have to wait for support for Bluetooth iOS gameplay.

Ha! Exactly. $50 isn't that slick. These have periodically been $35-40 for what, years and years now?

Count me as someone who isn't a fan of this new Xbox controller. Microsoft took a step backward with this one IMO. They went cheap with the textured grip and just formed it in the plastic instead of using the rubberized texture that they used on some of the Xbox One controllers. I also don't like how they raised up the ends of the D pad. They also made the battery door difficult to remove for some unknown reason.

I have an Xbox Series X and bought two of these during Black Friday. My son tried to use one with his Xbox One X and the controller disconnects constantly. He had to stop using it.

I've always preferred the Xbox controller to PS but that has changed with next gen. Sony hit it out of the park with the PS5 controller and Microsoft went backwards. The PS5 controller is fantastic and I'll now be buying multi console games on the PS5 instead of Xbox.

Get a regular Xbox one controller. I have been using one for a while and it works great with my motherboards Bluetooth. I recently bought a series x controller and the connection is completely unstable. I looked online and there's tons of reports from other people with the same problem. I even updated the firmware on the controller since some people said that helped but it didn't.
You need to go to H1 or H2 windows update as well, or whatever it's called. Probably an optional windows update.

The Elite 2 is still amazing, though. Feels great, charge lasts forever. Probably the best ever made.

My Costco Series X came with 2 controllers.

I have never had so many problems. It's worst with Windows 10 Bluetooth to the point I have to attach it via wire. It's pretty poor with XSX too, compared to the XB1 controller.

I did a warranty claim on one of the controllers and it came back just as broken, though I had the privilege of being short a controller for a few weeks. I am going to have to find a prior model controller before they disappear.

PS - I bump the share button at least once or twice a day. My Xbox is filled with random stupid screen shots now.

I am requesting a price match with Best Buy since it's still within the return period.
Do you have to call them for this? I tried looking for options in the app but it says they don't price match this product. My return window is up to the 16th though.

The charge does last a long time but I often get buttons that don't register and this seems to be a widespread problem. Plus I get random disconnects as well with it. I still prefer the regular Bluetooth Xbox One controller.

I can't speak to the textured grips as I use a controller skin, but the new D-Pad is fine by me and the battery door comes off just fine

The PS5 has it's own set of problems.

My friend is on his third Elite 2 controller, so once again I have to disagree here. I do like the fact that the Elite v2 kept the larger X1 controller shape and not the smaller XS controller shape as I have big hands, but honestly that's a nitpick as I've extensively used the XS controller and it hasn't hand-cramped me yet.

Never had a prob with my XS controller on my X1, but I can't say I've used it on my PC yet so I can't speak to that. I think I've accidentally bumped the share button MAYBE once or twice, you must be a wild man when you play. But yes, those that prefer the "older" X1 controllers better grab them now, retail stores are not going to have shelf space to carry both.

I have an Xbox controller with usb wireless stick for pc. If I want to replace the controller (grips worn out), will a new controller work with that usb stick?

Asked mine instead, she told me it will be on sale when you Grow Up.
