Just came across this as I was browsing Makita products on Amazon, so not sure if this is everyday price. But HD had it listed for $290 and browsing seems to be $200+ everywhere else. Been wanting a high torque impact gun for a while, and this looks like a steal for the spec. Was looking at one 4-5 years ago that was spec'd at 335ft-lb torque, but couldn't pull the trigger for the price(too long can't remember, but definitely wasnt this cheap, at least when I was looking), but already ordered this one at this price.

Thanks OP, went ahead and did my first buy now think later purchase on the $30/month payment option. I'm already in the platform for home owner stuff, but I've only recently decided I was going to start learning how to fix up my car properly. Is this thing completely overkill for my casualness?

I already have the Makita XWT15Z and it has amazing power for the size. That smaller one is perfect for lug nuts and most home automotive stuff, and the one I'd recommend for most home users.
