Make sure to use a chase card or another one that offers extended warranty to do your purchase.

My c930 lasted a bit over a year. Design flaw with the cable connecting the monitor with the motherboard. Cable is built into the hinge. Over extended use, your monitor will start showing flickers or cease to respond. I had a 4k monitor so it was impossible to get it replaced. My credit card ended up giving me back the full price of the laptop. I kept $500 to myself and ended up buying an HP Specter x360 last cyber Monday.

Laptop wise, this is an amazing notebook computer. Just make sure that it's only 1 year warranty and if your laptop fails after, you wouldn't be able to replace it due to how difficult to find and expensive the parts are.

The i7 Galaxy book at $799 was a much better deal with the qled screen assuming you don't mind the 13.3" vs 14" screen. I got mine GS certified open box for $639. it was indistinguishable from new except for the broken seal. it was still wrapped in the foam.

How so? If all you're after is the screen quality, sure, maybe. But a lower end U processor, integrated non-iris plus graphics, and I'm sure far inferior speakers makes its less of an overall package imo

I stand corrected. I didn't catch the iris graphics.

Got an open box satisfactory condition laptop for $522+taxes. Laptop is in excellent condition like a new one. 9 months warranty left and it's showing me an option to upgrade warranty. I'm considering paying $30 more to get 2nd year warranty. Thank you for posting the deal.

Where do you check if you have warranty on it? I got this laptop open box satisfactory in June and it has flawless for me. It looked brand new with everything included. The box was a little beat but nothing wrong with the computer.

Last I checked, it comes with a Lenovo support program pre-installed. It checks your warranty when you run the program.

It's also my understanding that the Lenovo should be able to honor the 1 year warranty for open box, or best buy will help within the year. going to reach out to Lenovo first then if that doesn't work, best buy

Lenovo will reset the warranty date from the date of your purchase. Takes a few days to hear back.

See if you have a program called "Lenovo Vantage" on your PC. I normally only work with ThinkPads so I haven't played with the consumer grade laptops, but they have a similar package on their PC.

I bought c940 4k version last week when bb open box deals were there. If great notebook but fan continuous making noise. Not sure is it the issue with 4k model or not. Any one has issues with fan in these models? How this c940 can be compared with HP ENVY? can you help to choose which one to keep and which one to return? HP charges restocking fee

I just got an open box satisfactory one for $544. Great deal. I'll sell my wife's old laptop on Craigslist and this will be probably an almost free upgrade.
