Mostly agree. It's not the game that was promised, but I still found it fun and enjoyable if you have a PC that's powerful enough. For this price, I say go for it. All DLC's will be free. Most of the bugs/glitches on PC are funny and haven't ruined my game. My bro has had issues on Xbox 1 X, upgraded to PS5 and still has some issues running the game, but my PC hasn't had any issues. My 2c anyways...

EDIT: Having said this and people liking it, I will add that I have 50 hours into the game and beat it. I spent a lot of time doing the side-missions and found those to be very enjoyable. It reminds me of when Fallout 4 came out. Not really the game that was promised, the story was enjoyable, but if you just cruised through the main story, you were done with it very quickly and left disappointed.

If I had to rate CP2077 in it's current state (v1.06), I would say it's 7.75/10 and that is with my hardware of i9-10850K and 3080. My previous setup of i7-8700K and 1080ti were seriously chugging on this game with 40-70fps at the graphics I wanted.

Hope that helps.
Interesting. I have an i5-4590 with a 1650 Super and 24GB DDR3, and it plays perfectly, but I run it at a capped 60. I finished it as well and enjoyed it.

PC version seems relatively fine with normal open world jank/bugs. Cdpr will fix it like they did witcher 3, which was also a mess at launch.

Ps4/xbox one version wont ever run well. The hardware is too old. I assume the patched pc version will be on xsx and ps5 in a month or two.

All that being said, i wouldnt buy this from cdkeys, id buy directly from steam or epic for their refund policy, just in case the game runs like crap on your pc

As someone who has it and played 50 hours so far, I'd wait and buy this in 6 months to a year. It'll be a different game and cheaper by then.

It's fun, but feels very incomplete in its current state.

For people like me, i don't want to do anything with Russia except for enjoyable classical music and ballet. Who knows what they use your info for .. i know it is gog but name address paypal info ...etc. yes i may sound ignorant but im concerned fr.
you think buying directly from gog russia is different than buying from gog usa? GOG is owned by CDPR so it's owned by the developer of the game.

who is cdkeys owned by and why do you think that's more reputable than buying from a CDPR company?

Does the VPN method with Russia as your country of origin still work? If so, thats cheaper, I think it comes out to $26, though I guess ethically questionable.
yep, i'd try that first. You're buying directly from CDPR, I think that's more legit than buying from cdkeys

I have an i6500 and a 1080, 16gb ddr4-- refund fine for me at 2k frame rates bounce a little but mostly at 60 fps. Awesome game. those that say don't buy it just read headlines about Xbox and PlayStation. If you're a PC gamer you know how to adjust settings. This game's rad, ignore the noise

yep. Bought the game at release but still haven't fired it up. Hoping that when they're done with the february patch next month that it'll be closer to what it should have been at launch

Purely personal opinion, I absolutely hated this game. I love rpg/action combo's like Deus Ex and this game was (for me) absolutely horrible. Outside of performance bugs, it has WAAAYY too much story with cutscenes that makes you impatiently skipping.

Imagine going to a steak dinner with 8 courses of salad. I spent 28 hours just to see it through and parts of the gameplay was enjoyable such as hacks, melee's and weapons. But I do not recommend it, even when bugs are addressed.

Purely my 2 cents.

+1 for CDKeys though!
thanks for your review. I'm in the same boat as you. I did not enjoy Witcher 3 because I knew 100% that it was 90% "filler" and was not interested in trudging through it. Seems like CP2077 is the same. I'm sure it's a great game. but its not the game for me, which is 100% fine. Not every game appeals to everyone.

I don't agree with the side missions being fun. Unless you're talking about Panam and other semi-main story quests. Because there are like 1000 side quests, half are NCPD gang activity the other half are fixer missions. Of those thousand or whatever, I'd say .5% of them are good. And it's not that much of an opinion because 99% of them don't have a VO for the story, it's all on a million data shards (journals) or emails.

Also with 9700k and 3080 overclocked with DLSS quality 1080p, and medium/high settings the game averages like 75 fps but stutters and drops to 50fps a lot. That is with recommended graphics tweaks like lowering crowd density. The game is poorly optimized.

I'd recommend people don't buy this game now. Because I am pretty confident it will be a vastly better game in 6 months to a year. It definitely has potential and CDPR say they are committed to making the game what they intended, so if I didn't just get my 3080 I wouldn't be playing it now. At the moment I'd give it a 6.5/10 but think it will be an 8.5 before 2021 ends, so if you can wait I'd recommend it. Also remember these huge open world games aren't likely ones you will want to play through again soon, so if you plan to only play it once, wait and play it when it's actually good.
