as much as i love CDPR (mostly due to the witcher games that i basically grew up with) i dont understand how they farked this one up so bad. I mean i do understand and i dont. I would not buy this until its fixed. Ive got a watercooled 3080 and still not getting this . no point in causing myself frustration since so many games out there do it right and run well. 40 bux is not awhole lot but 40 bux on junk its just a waste lol. Just wait until they patch it up and hopefully by then it may even run at a better framerate.

Ummm...so you're telling people not to buy it because of performance issues, but you don't even own it yourself?
I have a 3080 and this thing runs beautifully on a mix of ultra/high with Ray Tracing ON at 60-80fps, and with Ray Tracing off I get a solid 120-144fps.
Ok price. But let's be real. Prices will tank sooner rather than later. Just be patient. I say 20$ by months end. Maybe just maybe the end of February.
I think it will take longer than that, and they are dropping a multiplayer mode at some point that will increase interest in the game.
The correct choice is to wait 1-2 years for it to be fully fixed, have more free DLC content, and hit $15. Play literally anything else in the meantime.

Yup.
I'm running an OCed 3090 on 4k Ultra with RT on and DLSS Quality and it runs, and looks, great.
I have run into a couple of pretty minor bugs (the same as Bethesda type games, random NPC standing in mid air type stuff).... exit/reload fixes it if it causes a problem but it's pretty rare it's anything more than a visual hiccup.
And I've found 2 minor sidequests that remain bugged where I can't start them when I go to the map location- waiting on a patch (one cyberpsycho one, and one SOS one).... but other than that it's been fine.
The console versions have been a disaster though from what I've heard.
Game is a fail. It's GTA 5 minus the great story and all the cool stuff. Way too much of a boring story line. Skip skip skip skip skip skip for minutes and then u get a little action. Big pass and I only paid $27
Why not get it from GOG Russia for $27 or whatever it is now? I haven't played this buggy game yet but that's what I paid when a bunch of us bought it a while back.
Do you remember that thread? It was bombarded by the ethic community.

Oh pvp!? Noobs are going to hate losing to my iconic blunt weapon.

Worth your money? Yes
Is the game completely playable from beginning to end? Yes.

My game has never crashed.
It has had its share of funny glitches.
No issues with textures.
I'm having way too much fun with it. Though way too easy to get over powered with any build.
I thought this was a good deal, so I just bought it. Gog's "Galaxy 2.0" doesn't install on my Windows 10 machine though... the web installer icon shows an hourglass for a couple seconds, then goes away. (Yes, I tried running it as Administrator, turning off firewall, etc.) Anyway, my past experience with the Gog Galaxy has not been positive overall.
CDKeys is also crashing. When you try to load their page, they often just show you a picture of the Predator. (Reloading eventually works.)
Fortunately Gog.com offers a way to redeem your game code into your account without using Gog Galaxy 2.0, by using gog.com/redeem.
I think the only way to download the game through Gog.com without using Gog Galaxy 2.0 is in 36 separate parts. To say this is not user-friendly would be an understatement!

On the bright side- the 36 part version has no DRM.

This is not indicative of these services typical behavior.

Only recommend it if you have a high end pc.
Side note: police are broken. Ignore them.
