I just spent $100 getting my mom's iPhone 12 Pro Max replaced under apple's express replacement program due to a cracked screen and it's her only electronic device, she doesn't have a laptop. I ordered two boxes of the three pack and two boxes of the one touch (10 screens total). It took three wasted screens to finally get one to lie flat with no dust. I like the concept of the one touch placement but both had dust under the screen I couldn't remove, had success with one of the screens of the three pack. $20 for 10 screens is cheap insurance against a scratched screen.
I have found, a good way to solve the dust problem is to install the screen protector in the bathroom, preferably half an hour after a shower. There will be no dust particles in the air.

Anyone know why amfilm is 7.99 base price but delta shield is 1.95 for the same quantity and specs? DeltaShield Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7 inch)(3-Pack)(V1) Clear Tempered Ballistic Glass HD and Transparent Shatter-Proof Shield, 99% Touch Accuracy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M34R...UTF8&psc=1

Hardness of a screen and scratch resistance are not correlated. In fact many materials that are hard enough to resist cracks will scratch more ie platinum and those that resist scratch will crack ie tungsten. Screen protector is usually to prevent scratches while cases are used to protect drops that can crack the screen.

Why pay $4 for Pro Max screen protectors when you can pay $2? These also come with in installation tool.

I used this brand screen protector on my Pixel phone and it was great. No complaints.

nice find. I've used both of these brands and they are both top notch. I had already bought the amFilm one a couple days ago, else I'd have bought the IQ Shield brand. Too much of a hassle to return to save $2.

In for one for iphone 12 pro. Can the oneTouch tray be reused for subsequent protectors?

I prefer the full screen edge to edge ones, like this one https://www.amazon.com/ESR-Temper...B08CXPDN92

The one above is foolproof since it includes the installation frame.

I have a full screen one installed on my XS and I can barely tell I'm using a protector. No problems with Face ID or the selfie camera.

Besides the notch cutout being noticeable, I'd imagine it's annoying to constantly brush against the edge of the cutouts when swiping the top left and right corners to access Notifications and Control center.

No, the screens are different sizes.

I always fill a big salad bowl with hot water and set it on my desk while fiddling with the protectors. Might be fake news but I think it helps a bit.

Remember to change these out every 3-4 months. The coating wears off and transparency suffers. It's like a new phone after a few months of hard use.
