Mando spent so little time in his beat-up armor, I'm a bit surprised that the mini-figure isn't the shiny Beskar armor
It's already $130, you know how much this would cost if he was coated in Beskar?

how much does it cost lego to make these? $10 manufacturing, $10 license, $5 packaging, $3 marketing, $2 shipping?
The licensing is probably A LOT more, don't mess with THE MOUSE.

R&D is also a cost.

It's 60 day shipping window as it's for back orders. You're more likely to get it from a retailer before the 60 days

We were lucky to get this for Christmas and my kid and I had a blast building it. Not my favorite build, but it's got some great playability.

It's also good to see it's still in production. I had started to wonder if Lego had quietly discontinued it after what happened to it in the show.

Do you guys "kragle" your lego builds? My kids and I put these things together and they played with them and then breaks and parts go everywhere and then they just sit there broken. Just wondering.

Yeah, but that's probably negligible on a per set basis...

Its the licensing fee that jacks these up so high.

Any idea of how the quality stacks up for those versions (whether this set or another)? Seems like the users rate them well...

$120 for plastic pieces? What am I missing here?
I spent $350 on the Lego Disney Castle. And that's retail....
Over 4000 pieces of plastic. But it's fun to build. Lego sets are good investments if you ever want to sell them down the line. Once Lego stops making a set, collectors or people who really want the particular set are only left with the option of buying from 3rd party.
Lots of sets hit double or triple it's retail price.

Can you please explain the promo your talking about. Especially if it something that can be used with this Mando set. Thank you
It's not available any more. Not really worth explaining since the Lego group offers timed gift with purchases and the one that ended a couple of weeks ago was a classic car.
