My three showed up today and each was in its own Lego box and then all of them were in one large Amazon box.

I just found out Amazon (not 3rd party) sells this for $169.99 when LEGO's MSRP is $129.99. WTF.

Not normally. It's usually $129 or out of stock if Amazon is the seller.

Thanks for the reply. I definitely ordered this without knowing the MSRP for $169.99 from Amazon.com Services LLC.

I wonder if I can get Amazon cs to lower the price.

Just noticed this myself as I bought it (at $129.99) at Amazon and received the other day. It came in a clear plastic bag wrapped around the retail package with my address on a sticker Amazon slapped on. I guess that's the frustration free packaging at Amazon (that's what I selected). At least the box wasn't all crushed up. Anyway I was curious why Amazon LLC has it at $169.99 now. Was the MSRP always $129.99 when it came out?
