This deal from before the holidays is back. Get the Wyze Scale for $19.54 before tax from Amazon. I snoozed on it the first time. Grabbed one this time to try.

i think what you are talking about is BMI (body mass index). this scale can do inbody test (with bioelectrical impedance analysis) which can tell fat/muscle/water ratio.
but as i stated in the earlier comment, this will analyze only your legs.. so if you do running a lot with no upper body workouts, it will show higher muscle ratio than your actual body
and yes, this will measure without the app. got mine from the exact same deal posted a couple weeks ago.

Few things to note:
1. Weight seems to be accurate. Compared with other scales.
2. Body fat% seems to be off by 2-3% between scales. Shows higher percentage from clinical test.
3. It intermittently stops sending updates to Apple Health. I turn the data exporting to apple heath OFF from health settings, kill the Wyze app and turn it back on. It syncs all the data back.

FWIW, I have been having problems with a number of Wyze devices which all seemed to install fine and work over a period of time, but then the trouble started. Camera, motion detector, door lock. I am often getting offered deals on new products from Wyze, but I have stopped for the time being.
