-------------COMPARE to WYZE V3
+PROS: Eufy...................Wyze
--cooldown:
--subscription:
--video goes directly to phone, not overseas server first like with wyze delayed
--live stream works via Google Nest Home (Eufy)
--Better built-in human / pet detection AI (Eufy)
These Wifi cameras are not on all the time right? They are motion triggered? If they can be left on 24/7 then how long do the batteries last? I'm trying to decide between wifi and just biting the bullet and hardwiring some security cameras.

These plug into a outlet...no batteries..they are able to do 24/7 recording

These are plugged in to an electric outlet for power.
The biggest benefit to Eufy over Wyze (other than not needing a subscription for notifications without a 5-min cooldown) is that when you use 24/7 recording the motion events are listed as a different color on the timeline. This was always a pain point for me with Wyze as it didn't differentiate between non-motion and motion events when scrolling through the recordings on the micro sd card. Another nice benefit with Eufy is free person detection. Yes, Wyze grandfathered in v2 owners with free PD but that doesn't do new customers any good. Nor does it benefit people who want to upgrade from the v2 to the v3. Eufy PQ is much better when compared to a Wyze v2, but the Wyze v3 has the advantage over the Eufy due to the better low light sensor.
I don't believe Wyze lets you stream ALL your cams at once, just up to 4. No way to do that with Eufy unfortunately outside of using a third-party app like you mentioned.
I want to add that if you record 24/7 with Eufy 2k cams the recored videos are in 1080 instead of 2k.
I haven't received my indoor cameras yet, but do have the Eufy outdoor cameras and love them. This is what I do to view on my computer (this is assuming you are able to view your indoor cameras on the Eufy app). Keep in mind, I am using the app on my android phone.
I loaded an application on my Windows machine called BlueStacks. This is basically an Android emulator for the computer. Once that's loaded and configured, you can install the Eufy app and you will be able to see your cameras. Again, I don't have my indoor cameras yet and have not yet tested it, but it works great with my Eufy app for my outdoor cameras.
This method mentioned is good for viewing live coverage. When using BlueStacks, you have the same functionality as the app where you can not only view live coverage, but can also playback previously recorded footage that is on the HomeBase.
I wouldn't call it a deal, but a decent price: newegg has an off-brand 32GB microSD card for $4.49. Got some for my brother for these cams for Christmas, and no complaints so far. https://www.newegg.com/team-32gb-...6820313756
