These shelf style air fryers can be a pain in the rear. You must put on oven mitts and shuffle the tiny shelves around as you cook to get evenly cooked food. With the basket style, you just open the drawer with your bare hand and shake the food around a bit. You will get food splatter on the fold down door and on the interior of walls of shelf style fryer. With the basket style, you just toss the drawer/basket in the sink or dishwasher. I find momentarily opening the drawer to check on cooking progress with the drawer style let's moisture escape, which actually helps with making food crispier.
I recommend the $50 8qt gourmia at Walmart when in stock.

Looks like a great fryer with a great price and reviews! My biggest complaint with my two current air fryers is no window so I have to keep checking or just end up with overcooked food when I open it up. This one not only has a window but also seems to have a rotisserie as well!

Finally found something that I can use the $50 off with the AMEX Platinum offer which makes it $35 for me! Mrs SatcomTech will be pleased.

Do you know what the difference is? I can't seem to find anything. Home Depot is the only place I can see this model. Thanks

You might be a hoarder if....

Here's a good rule. You can't buy another air fryer until you get rid of your first two!

WOW, great deal, that should offset the $500+ Amex Platinum annual fee.
If I paid the annual fee I would still come out ahead with all the other benefits. Who pays full price for anything here?

I have had this for a few month. Cooks well. I like it and is convenient. has many presets.

Initially it had a strong (plastic?) smell when cooking. Dissapated after a few uses.

only goes up to 400 degrees but never had anything that really needed higher temps. I use a food thermometer if in doubt something is cooked enough

i can see that being awesome for something like fries. how large is the drip pan to cook an entire chicken? that has to make a huge mess.
