I got one for high school in 9th grade, because it was the "it" backpack — used that thing through college and everywhere i traveled during and after... like 10+ years of a 14-24 year old's abuse. Such a solid product

They don't give you a new backpack because the zipper is broke, you send the backpack that needs repair with a note what you want to be fixed, of course shipping cost is on YOU, once they receive it, they will replace the zipper, patch a hole or put a few more stitches to reinforce the shoulder straps and ship it back to you, the same old backpack that you miss so much.

I sent a 15+ year old back pack back to them, they couldn't fix it. It was pulling away at the seams. They sent me the exact same back pack as a replacement. That was about 5 years ago, The replacement is holding up nicely. The seams appear to have been improved over the years. I would highly recommend Jan-sport for back packs... At this price I am tempted to buy a couple for the kids and hold onto them till they need them.

Just delivered, fast shipping. Unlike old jansport which had a soft suede bottom. This newer model has that fake synthetic leather. Overall, still nice. Plan to use it as a traveling bag or errands. . Definitely more sturdy and structure than the Eddie Bauer stow away bags I have. Although those are nice for space and convenience. btw that printer ribbon shipping filler is backordered , had anyone tried cancelling it if they already received the backpack delivered?
