Are these all attempting to be Prusa v3 clones? Same parts as a prusas or cheaper because of the price?
Prusa is a whole different animal from my research. I wanted that one but I can't justify the cost as I try 3D printing out for the first time. I've read many, many good things about the Ender 3 and have been looking for a couple of months.
I got this from the woot deal and now find my self printing anything I can. Upgraded springs and looking at pei beds. It's been great so far but I've never seen any others in action

Did you print anything before upgrading the springs? I know a lot of people recommend that, wondering if I should do it right off the bat.

I haven't upgraded my springs, and I've had this printer for about 2+ weeks now. Lots of good prints so far (useless stuff mostly). I'm going to deal with adding an enclosure since it's in a cold basement first, then look at the little stuff.
There's certainly not a NEED to do anything out of the box.

I did yes, and after the spring upgrade, it's been staying level much more consistently. I personally would recommend just doing it off the bat and saving yourself a bit of time leveling in the future. Also worth looking into a BL Touch!

I did print a few things before upgrading. It works fine without but springs are cheap and easy to switch. Yellow springs will stay level longer whereas stock springs are weak and flex to the side more
