I ordered through Sears (for $10 more) to get the 2.0 battery

Just arrived...with a 1.5. I think product description is wrong. About to call....

Sears sold via CPO, so the customer service rep sent them a note. I requested a partial refund based on the product description not matching. She said they will come back in 72 hrs on it.

Big picture I'm not too concerned, just kinda sucks as I wanted the 2 Ah battery

In 4 1, thanks OP. Says it's out of stock but it let me place the order.

Note: I signed up for the emails to get a $10 off code. So it was $101.82 with coupon, shipping, tax.

I got mine through Sears. It's a mis-post - it arrived with 1.5A

What's the deal with the battery situation on these? The part number for the kit is DCS356C1 but some sell the kit with a 2.0 battery and some with a 1.5 under the same part number?

I just purchased the atomic version on sale, I'm debating whether to return it and get this version. I assumed that the atomic version was the latest model.

also I'm in the market for blades- any tips appreciated
I probably wouldn't bother. Many people don't like the Atomic drills but reviews on the Atomic oscillating tool look solid. I got the Atomic, along with an XR drill/impact set. Really it's up to you whether you want the 3-speed XR or not. I don't personally see a use for that since it has a variable speed trigger and most of the time I will be cutting at full speed. I have a dedicated orbital sander so I only intend to use this for cutting or scraping.

Another Youtuber (Landberg Tile TV) recommended these. Not sure if he's sponsored but they look decent.

I don't believe that to be the case. It's a sealed Dewalt box, I think all come with the 1.5A battery. The only difference is that some of the product descriptions list it incorrectly as 2.0A

I ordered from CPO (1st time) because their listing was for a 2 Ah battery, versus the other sites at 1.5 Ah. I just received it and it is a 1.5 Ah; clearly a listing error.

I am on the phone with CPO, they are going to send me a 2 Ah battery.

Same here with the battery ordeal. I ordered through Sears hut fulfilled by CPO so I called them. They were great. Dewalt is sending out a 2.0. Any idea if they'll ask for the 1.5 to be shipped back? CPO said it's up to Dewalt.

The Atomic is rated to 18,000 OPM, while this one goes up to 20,000. The atomic appears to lack the belt clip option. Lastly, the Atomic (and older XR) do not have the three speed switch on the base of the tool; while this one also has a variable speed trigger, you can lock into a set range using the switch.

Other than that, they seem more or less the same, barring a few cosmetic differences.
I'd like to know if there is a weight difference between the two.

The only freebie I see for signing up for emails is free shipping on your first order, which is sort of moot with this item as it already has free shipping.

Edit: Oh, never mind... you were talking about ordering via Acme.
