I found on the street Red Lambo with 6V system, I was thinking of juicing it with 12V or higher, but electronics are rated at 6V, so pretty much would need major swaps. In the end, 6V systems are not worth the effort. I have another curb find with jeep and it is 2 wheel drive with 12V, it should be fun

Going 6v to 12v will be fine as long as you don't have traction. You don't want traction on these basic power wheels so you don't blow out gears.
18v drill batteries are amazing for the 12v cars. They make adapters you can buy on Amazon, basically a drill battery plug with 2 wires, enjoy!

I'll concur, and I bring this up in every 6V thread - 6V are always underpowered and many times only include a single drive motor. As a parent this is incredibly frustrating as single drive units tend to get the car (or whatever the ride on is) stuck frequently, requiring adult intervention. Also, being underpowered I wouldn't use them except on some sort of pavement.
Our first Jeep was a 6V single motor (literally one rear drive wheel) and a HUGE disappointment - to the point where we put it away and told the kids it was broken. I eventually just gave that unit away to get rid of it.
Our second vehicle was one of those dune racers (2 seater green) and that's been a solid unit.
Would I overvolt a 6V or 12V? Probably not a 6V but a 12V maybe. Realize it will likely reduce the lifespan of the motor, and you risk stripping the gears though.
