AMD Ryzen 5 Hexa-core 3.7GHz Desktop Processor 100-100000065BOX 5600X
https://www.govgroup.com/amd-100-...3-prd1.htm

My total was $324.99 after $7.43 for shipping (See my images attached for packing slip and boxed CPU i got)

Ordered 12/27
Shipped 1/6
Received 1/13 (Fedex didn't scan it in until 1/12, prolly would have been faster if they did their job right)

The company doesn't answer the phone very well but does respond to emails within a day or so each time when i asked about updates. They are shipping them and they are real. Grab them while they are in stock!

They also have a model for $312 on their site and I was told that this model comes unboxed from original packaging when I asked so i avoided that one.

Edit: CPU booted into BIOS. Everything working on it. Pic attached of BIOS.

Yeah ill pass. I actually saw this a week ago or so. I usually dont buy from random websites.

Usually these rando sell sites that pop up are scammers who put a quick site up to get some victims before it gets shut down.

A ryzen 5600x is the perfect trap to scam idiots. They know they are OOS everywhere, so people will definitely jump on it because their site has them "in-stock". Easy scam.

As for the OP receiving his, eh, cant comment on that.

Everything matches with amds site, all the codes scan right, serials match, all holo stickers are correct. Cant install it until tomorrow but everything is correct so far.

I agree with you but they have been around for years, they are not a popup site. Most of the reviews i saw were for bad customer service when people contacted them. The phone lines were aweful, i could never get through but email worked fine. Im very happy with the purchase for the price they are selling at. Hope others looking for this cpu at non-scalper prices take advantage of the deal.

GovGroup is not shady in any respect. To the contrary, they are widely used in the government, education, and enterprise sectors. Pricing also is far from secretive but is completely straightforward and upfront. Because they are mainly business-oriented, they are not going to do hand-holding with basic things like selecting the right product or filing for a return. So your lowest common denominator layman consumer will always inevitably moan and complain. Just look at the horrific grammar in their reviews which is chockful of CAPITALIZATION and other childish nonsense. Make no mistake: these are all basement-level quality "ID10T" reviews you are reading on Reseller Ratings that have no bearing on reality. Ignore the Internet idiots and buy with absolute assurance from GovGroup.

A word of caution: never buy the OEM models. Make sure the packaging type says it is the Retail version. Otherwise, AMD will not honor any warranty as described below.

Did it come with the cooler?

I'm seeing three on the web site, two for $312.48 and another for $319.

100-100000065
100-100000065MPK
100-100000065BOX

All are listed on back order with the first two being $312.48 and the last being $319. From the AMD site: https://www.amd.com/en/products/c...en-5-5600x

OPN Tray / 100-000000065
OPN PIB / 100-100000065BOX
OPN MPK / 100-100000065MPK

And from Reddit:

Quote :
Tray is what's usually called "OEM" packaging - just a bunch of CPUs on a tray.
PIB is "processor in box", which is the "retail" packaging, with the fancy box and all.
MPK is "multipack", a box with a bunch of CPU + cooler bundles but no fancy packaging, mostly sold to OEMs/SIs.
So hope this helps someone...

I posted this earlier and I say it again: only get the RETAIL version. The retail SKUS end in BOX. The others are NOT warrantied by AMD. Spend the extra $10 or $20 for the warranty. It is absolutely not worth the risk even if processors have generally low failure rates.
