I have Nest cam but I'm tempted to try this samsung cam out since I have mostly samsung devices. I'm willing to downgrade a little, just a little.

Don't forget to use edu discount and 10% cancel trick and 5% ref to get this even cheaper
I tried to do a cancel on one but it didn't work, just cancelled lol. What are the steps if you got it to work? Edu discount didn't apply either. Didn't try the 5% referral tho. Thanks in advance!

Oh and use cashback sites for 2 to 3% ain't much but why not lol (I used Samsung Pay's Cash Back for 2.88% as it stated)

Just got this in a few days ago. Love this cam!!!! Built in motion detection, voice detection, human detection and the ability to add to my smartthings hub to configure a "if this than that" situation.

What does it do that's special when it integrates with the hub?

Eufy 2k indoor goes on sale for $27 and it has really great built quality and app with micro-sd card.
I second this. Amazing how much bang for the buck Eufy cameras are.

You can configure "if this then that" type of scenarios. So like it detects motion it will trigger another device. There is hundreds of different triggers you can set up.

I've got an assortment of cameras that I've picked up over the years: nest, ring, cloud cam, and blink. They are all terrible in different ways. I'm looking to replace all of them with a cohesive system. Does anyone have recommendations for a set of cameras that would allow me to record to a local hard drive without a subscription?
If you are looking for a quality system, just get everything Nest. After owning many different brands with local and cloud storage, I decided that I just want something that works without having to mess with it, recharge it, pull SD cards, deal with crappy false alerts, etc. You can get full Nest Aware plus with 24/7 recording and all features for $10/mo, and that includes as many cameras as you want. The convenience of cloud storage cannot be overstated. I have found nothing that works as good as Nest products do out of the box.

Does this support RTSP or some method to view the feed while on the computer? I have a Wyze but RTSP is so buggy on it that the feed constantly lags and interrupts.

So turn living room lights on when you get home at night?

Got a SD Alert about this deal at Lowes, but mine was OOS. Then saw it for $29 at Best Buy. but waited, hoping to call for a Price Match. Then got an SD Alert about this at Samsung, but was OOS by the time I got the SD Alert. Saw it this morning, and bought 4. I would have bought more, but 4 is the limit on free monthly service.
