Use code MIKES25 for Jersey Mike's app orders and receive 25% off your entire order. Enter code at checkout. Valid thru 1/17/21.

To each there own, but Mike's is my favorite for subs. A little pricey, but the code helps!

Thanks! You just saved me a fortune feeding all the college students I bussed in to help rig the election.

25% brings it closer to a fair price for Jersey Mikes.

Subway is gross. Every time I step out of a Subway, my clothes reek of their stinky bread. I'd rather make my own sandwich. JM is pretty good, similar to Jimmy Johns in quality.

I feel their bread smells like sweaty socks.

Yeah, We tried them with the earlier 50% off promo -- which I was able to stack with an AMEX Offer on my credit card. We thought the subs were good, and reasonable value at half off. At 25% off, the prices are no longer at "you've got to be kidding me" levels, but still not reasonable enough for me to plan a visit I do wonder who their regular customer base is for $15 subs..

A $15 sub is a giant and is considered to be enough food to feed 2-3 people. It is equal to 3-5" minis or 2-7.5" regulars. The giant is there to save you a couple bucks if 2 people are getting the same sandwich. $7.50/person is a pretty reasonable lunch/dinner in today's prices. Sure 1 person can polish off a giant by themselves if they have a huge appetite but a 15" sandwich isn't the norm for 95% of people.

I completely agree. Every time I go there I feel ripped off. When I get the veggie (yeah, I'm weird, whatever), there is an extremely thin layer of cheese and a bunch of lettuce. A gian costs $16+ and it weighs nothing. Meat sandwiches often seem light on meat/cheese as well. 25% off is a pass for me also. Jimmy Johns is such a better value ($8 or so for a large), and is also delicious.

A giant Jimmy John's is anywhere from $11-$16?!? Where are you getting $8? I will agree with you that the JM veggie is not a very robust option but they are adding a grilled portabella vegi option in the next month or 2 if you want a veggie. BTW, I charge $13 for my giant veggie at my JM stores.

It looks like I was mistaken on prices at both places (operating on minimal sleep here). Jimmy Johns is10.59 for a large at my local one. Jersey Mike's is $13.45 for a giant. Still, that's 27% more money for an inferior product (to me anyway) and for less food.

Thanks for the heads-up on the upcoming portabella option- may have to try that.

Their Italian (#13, I think?) is amazing on the rosemary bread Big Grin I feel guilty eating a giant in one sitting, but eh, whatever

Maybe two but definitely not three unless they're children. I'm a 200-lbs dude so maybe a little bigger than average but regularly eat a giant on my own.

For comparison, the approx. amount of meat on each sandwich and cost of a turkey and cheese sandwich (information obtained online):

Subway 6": 2.5 oz ($4.55)
Jimmy Johns 8": 3.0 oz ($6.00)
Jersey Mike's 7": 6.5 oz ($7.59)

For both Subway and Jimmy Johns, it's approx. an extra $1.50 for double meat. So, if you take the amount of meat per sandwich and add up what it would cost to contain the amount of meat in a Jersey Mike's sub, Jersey Mike's works out to be about 50-60 cents more than Subway, and a few cents less than Jimmy John's.

In my area, it seems like Subway always has coupons, Jersey Mike's occasionally, and Jimmy Johns never...

So when people say Jersey Mike's is over priced, I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

If you want a veggie sub, just make it at home...you're not the target market.

JJ's, to me, is way more inferior than JM's...by a long shot. I've never left JJ's and felt satisfied...bland white bread.
