I'm going to agree with both. Jersey Mike's is excellent, but excessively expensive. Subway is garbage...i won't eat there at any price. I'm a fan of Dibellas for quality, or Sheetz for convienence.

Subway is gross. Every time I step out of a Subway, my clothes reek of their stinky bread. I'd rather make my own sandwich. JM is pretty good, similar to Jimmy Johns in quality.

I only get the philly cheesesteak from here. Prefer to get publix subs for cold meat since they are priced cheap and quality is also superb

Yeah, We tried them with the earlier 50% off promo -- which I was able to stack with an AMEX Offer on my credit card. We thought the subs were good, and reasonable value at half off. At 25% off, the prices are no longer at "you've got to be kidding me" levels, but still not reasonable enough for me to plan a visit I do wonder who their regular customer base is for $15 subs..

What really kills me is town where I work. There is a JM right next to a real old school deli. They get their bread fresh from the Portuguese bakery across the street.

Come lunch time JM is packed with people waiting for their $15 subs. Meanwhile the deli is half dead. Go figure.

Swap it out for a different cheese. There is Provelone or Swiss, won't be the same kind of melt, but doesn't matter if they taste better to you. Probably need to add the request to the "special notes" box, as I don't see an option to select a different cheese on the app.

I have the Jersey Mike's app but it's annoying that they didn't push the discount offer to all of their app users. If anyone from Jersey Mike's is listening: you lose sales that way because the people most-likely to order are your regular customers.

Depends where you are located. Stores are individually owned so pricing is controlled by the franchisee but I own a couple and can attest first hand that my operating cost have sky rocketed since COVID started. Literally everything is going up in cost. My lettuce and tomatoes doubled, my beef went up 100%-150%, my cheese went up, my gloves went from <$30 a case to $90, my Pepsi and Lays products have gone up as well. I promise they don't increase prices to make more money, it's to try and keep a reasonable margin.
