20FE had touch screen issue from the beginning. Hopefully Samsung fixed it in 21.
I got my S20FE day one, never had any touch issues. Could be very isolated.

Do you get the $800 Bill Credit and the price of the Trade in discounted?

I attempted to do the upgrade from the website, but when I check out, there are not mentions of the $800 Bill Credit.

Any ideas?

Thats correct. It would show a lower value and once you trade in the correct amount would be added. I confirmed with TMo and have done similar ones before.

So - I have a pixel 4 xl - trade in value shows $200 - as long in good condition, Ill get the rest $600 spread out over 24 months one they receive phone. Is that the right understanding? Even though there's no mention of it anywhere ?

Sorry, just a little nervous about buying it and not receiving the full 800 credit, since it just says "up to 800"

Considering this is a pre-order, we wait until receiving the s21 and then send in the phone we are trading in im assuming? Does t-mobile usually give you something to send the phone we are trading in?

Yes that's how it works. I've done about 5 trade in this year and had no issues. This is just the way T-Mobile does things, I agree it would be nice if they laid out the entire credits when you order but for some reason they won't do it like that.

Yes, you hold on to your trade in until you get the new phone. They do not send you anything to mail the phone back in, usually I use the same packaging that the new phone arrives in.

You would need to pay off the remaining EIP on S20FE first. Just like with this, the part of S20FE deal was you would get the remaining as bill credit. They do keep giving the promo credit even when you pay it off, as long as you do not cancel a line.
Help me with the math here. If you pay in full (lets say $500), does it defeat the purpose of getting it at discount? I know you still get $500 over the course of 24months but if you do nothing then you dont have to spend $500 right?

Life goes on as it is if you do nothing.

So, what does TMO call "good condition" for the trade-in?
