I already did that for one of my lines.. but on the second line, I have a small crack on screen at the top of my Note 9. I want to make sure the trade in works so wanted to make sure by doing it at store.
You can do the trade in at Samsung website, they take cracked screen for trade in.

I have heard horror stories of folks losing credits so just wanted to try the store route.

Anyone know if Sprint folks are included? And for those who got it from Costco in the past, how did that work?

I don't mind getting credits for 24 months, but what if I want to upgrade my phone again in 1 year?

Let's assume I pay upfront for S21, trading in an S10 as part of the promotion, giving me a few hundred $ rebate right away. The remainder of difference from $800 and what they give for the S10 is given to me in bill credits over 48 months, right?

What if I want to do this type of trade-up deal again in 1 year? Do I continue to get the remaining credits if I sell the already-paid-off phone? Or do the credits stop at that time?

That's how they getcha. The credits will stop when you trade in the phone.

Bill credits are over a 24 month period. I believe the credits go on the line. They want to make sure you continue to keep service for at least 24 months.

If after 12 months you wish to upgrade to a new device you have 2 options I believe:
1) If you're on EIP (payment monthly installments for a device) you have to pay off the remainder that's due.
2) If you paid up front for the device then you can trade it in and get a new device.

If after 12 months you wish to cancel the line then credits will stop coming.

Same here $180 for S10
Yes, that is right. So out of 800 off they will give you 180 as bill credit and remaining as monthly credit for 24 months. I just placed an order.

Just traded S9+ for S21+ over the phone with Sprint and got the $800 over 24 months. So my bill will go up about $8 a month for 2 years while paying. And, got the activation fee offset by a bill credit. 45 minute call though.

Not really sure that is a "getcha". It's written in the contract. It's like saying I don't owe you for the tires that I purchased from you, because I sold the car.

Anyone doing a N10 Plus to a S20U? What are your thoughts? Obviously the storage will be a downgrade, but everything else seems like upgrades.

Just curious, Samsung is offering S21 for $75 with S10 trade in + $260 accessory credit. Isn't that a better deal?

Edit: Accessory credit $160 for S21, $210 for S21+ and $260 for S21 ultra
How did you get that price? Samsung has the s10 trade in value for 550 so where did you get the 75 quote?
