Wow, AT&t takes the fake contract to a new level with 2.5 years!
It works perfectly fine for me. I had my galaxy s9 for 3 years now. 2.5 years is no biggie

Just found ATT has this tricky policy. When you have more than 5 persons in the plan, you employee discount will be ruined.

Make sure to trade your phone in store. Their 3rd party vendor who accepts phone trade in will scam you saying your perfectly phone has some flaws and don't meet the promo requirement. There are tons of issues still not resolved from previous note20 promo.
I got screwed trading 2 phones in store. Took over 3 and half years to get my credit

Why pay $237 when the att(carriers) will give you 700-800 off making it practically free? Just because you don't want to be locked in to a company providing good service for the next 30 months?

Not true. Discount doesn't matter how many lines won't get removed. Now if you changed to the new unlimited plans the discount applies differently but still should come out cheaper than whatever previous plan you had?

how does one join samsung insights?
They way I joined was on this forum asking someone who was already in for an invitation. That person then once a year Samsung gives them 5 invites to give out. The program was designed to switch people from iPhones to Samsung phones. So if a person gets an invitation they secret is to fill out the invite an iPhone to be accepted.

And I already gave out all 5 of my invites.

Dang I was about to bite but saw it requires an unlimited plan. All of their "deals" do these days Frown

I miss the days of every 2 years AT&T would just give you a significant discount (or free) phone per line.
This. People would complain about two year contracts but they were a done deal. Now to get the same device, it's a 2.5 year contract with a credit score requirement and a mandatory trade in of a usable device. The $800 phones are all capable of the same that this is.

Screw the carriers. I bought a open box lg g8 thinq for $240 from amazon and got a $100 rebate from it on top of it. Someone tell me how I am missing anything? I'm not

All these offers are horsesh*t. Get the trade in value over 30 billing credits. What the title of these offers should be is, sign a 30 month contract and we'll let you trade in your phone.
Then pay for it upfront
......

This is not a contract at all. Contracts have early termination fees.
