Nice, i've been looking for something that would work with my older 34" Acer that weighs like 26lbs. This looks like it should work. I'm going to try it, thanks for the share on that one.

I bought this model last month and thought that i probably should have spent more at first. Once i set it up, i was fairly impressed. It really does seem sturdy and I'm feeling good about my two 27" monitors hanging on it. The base and arms feel sturdy and the mounting bracket feels solid. It also came with an edge clamp and a "through" clamp designed to mount through a hole in your desk, if you've got that kind of setup. For $40, im extremely happy with what I got. The only downside is the cable management was kind of a PITA. Just hard to open up the plastic shrouds and route the cables through. That said, i did it and shouldnt have to do it again, so now it's all gravy. If anyone has any questions, hit me up.

Bought this in summer. It has worked perfectly so far. Cheaper than one posted, no code required.

This is nice if you're not looking for one with pneumatics but the gas arms are definitely a better deal if you're looking for more articulation.

Thanks for the link to this one. I wanted one to hold my 34" Curved monitor along side or on top of my 27". Needed something to hold the heavier monitor.

This requires a hole in the desk, no?

Nope, it's got a clamp, you can see it in the pictures.

I'm really interested in this but don't know what to look for in a monitor stand outside size compatibility. Is there anything I should be aware of?
Depends how nice you want it to be. I got an easy to set up vertical one for around $30 and it's been perfect. Literally no problems. No wobbles no nothing

I have used many different dual monitor mounts and sit stand desks for over 12yrs, and I would say to measure the distance from your eyes to the surface of your desk at your desired seat height position. That way you will know what max height monitor arm to buy.

Your eyes should align with the horizontal arm; however, your monitor "center" will sit about 2-3 inches below this arm (depending on the mount specs/brand). For example, from the center of horizontal arm (or your eyes) to the surface of my desk measure 20 inches, but the center of monitor to the surface of my desk measures 17 inches. Your eyes are supposed to look slightly downward to reduce eye fatigue, and I have calculated all of that into consideration.

I worked closely with an ergonomic company for many years, and I could go on about other ways to setup a proper "work" station, but this reply is just to provide the most important thing to look for when buying a monitor arm mount. I'm on my 5th brand and currently using a triple monitor arm mount (pyramid style), 4 screens total:
-3 screens (2 monitors, 1 laptop screen) for work
-1 screen for my personal PC

Can anyone comment on how these Chinese crafts compare to Amazon Basics arms, which I believe Ergotron makes for them?
I just threw my amazon basics dual monitor arms in the dumpster 2 days ago. I have 22" monitors well under the weight limit and it didn't hold the monitors any higher than the OEM stands because the arms sagged down so much. Utter garbage. I replaced it with this [amazon.com] which works much better.

Edit: I just looked it up and my monitors weigh 5.5lb each. The amazon basics stand says up to 25 pounds. B.S.

Hate my Amazon dual arm. Kludge, hard to use/setup, low height.
