I just bought two vests regular price $70 for 19.99. Yes they do carry 32Degrees at Costco but I think these prices still beat Costco?

This has been the price of the women's vest for a while (in fact it was $17.99). Good stuff!
Has anyone ever seen something from this brand being sold at retail? Ever, Anywhere?

Looking for warmth? This is great. Looking for warmth and quality? Look somewhere else.

Lmao at "Polyester Substitute". Uhh, no. People want down for warmth and don't want polyester. Polyester is "down substitute".

I bought this a year ago. I think 32 Degrees is generally a great value, but not this one. A lot of down feathers started to come out after wearing a few times.
I had the same issues with the fill coming out or poking me while wearing it. As well, the zipper is very low quality compared to a NF one I have.

The quality is pretty low but for $18 bucks you might be satisfied. I wasn't.

Costco
I buy 32 degrees at Costco and their retail price is reflective of what this website says is 70% off.

Just last week, I ordered one from Macy's for $29 (vest). I guess it's going back.

Costco and Marshall's, that's it for me.

Title is a little confusing, this really is down but they're calling it a substitute for poly? I always saw it the other way around.

"Butter: the margarine substitute!"

Anyone else got a "Thanksgiving Sale" banner at the top? I don't know why, but I find that entertaining.

I like 32 degrees, but I'm reluctant to jump on this because of the size. Let me explain. I own a 32 degrees rain jacket that I bought at Costco, and I'm happy with its quality; however, I'm a size M, and the jacket covers half my hand, so maybe I have short arms or something lol, but this is only with 32 degrees size M.
I'm afraid that if I get a size M jacket will be too long, the models wearing the jacket on the website are 6+ feet tall, and the jacket fits perfectly. I'm 5'8', so obviously, these jackets run kind of large.
If I go size S then it'll be tight on my shoulders/chest and perfect on my armsConfused

The fit on the men's ultra light down jacket is a bit strange. Relatively boxy and loose around the waist. Love their active t-shirts (wearing one right now) but wouldn't recommend this jacket.
+1. I got it last month and it fits horribly. They have a $5 return fee. I don't think I will be shopping there again in the future.

32 degrees is hit or miss. In general it does not last long and is not super warm. If you need warmth invest in EB , Patagonia, Marmot or Mountain Hardwear.

Are these real down feather or polyester fill? You need the real down for really cold climate.
I bought two of their men's jackets (parka and bubble) during the last sale around Christmas. Also got my wife a white bubble jacket that's a bit longer than a regular jacket and a vest.

Every jacket/vest had a tag that said "RDS-Responsible Down Standard." The stuff we bought has been great so far. On past 32Degrees threads I've seen people comment that the stuff they get directly from them seems to be of higher quality than the stuff sold at Costco/Macy's.

So far, I'm inclined to agree as I bought one of their jackets at Macy's a couple years ago and it was shedding feathers all over the place. Macy's replaced it and the second one was better but with these, we haven't had any problems at all with the feathers coming out. Though from my personal experience, that could happen with any of the cheaper brands of down jackets.

I'm also inclined to believe that that they're real down feathers just because one of the jackets had the "wet bird" smell the first time it got rained on. The smell was honestly pretty gross lol and we had to google what it was but it went away after like 15 minutes and thankfully hasn't been back so it was probably just because the jacket was new.

That being said, these jackets are great for just ordinary purposes like going out for a walk or to the store and have kept me plenty warm even in freezing temps (the parka especially) for a couple of hours. If you are doing something where you will need serious warmth then obviously you would look elsewhere.
