I just bought two vests regular price $70 for 19.99. Yes they do carry 32Degrees at Costco but I think these prices still beat Costco?

32 degrees is hit or miss. In general it does not last long and is not super warm. If you need warmth invest in EB , Patagonia, Marmot or Mountain Hardwear.
I'll partially agree with this guy. I do have an Eddie Bauer down jacket that I love (although I hate to wear it/get it dirty because laundering real down jackets & drying the correct way is straight wretched) Yet I also have a $200+ North Face jacket that certainly isn't worth what my head coach paid for it in terms of warmth and such.

And with 32 Degrees = I'll gladly say HIT. I only have the stuff they sold to Costco (the Dri-Fit-type t-shirts and one of those mixed-media, part softshell, part "down" coats). I'm way more impressed than I thought I'd be with the fit and finish of them both , and the mixed-media coat is pretty dang comfortable overall and I stay warmer than I thought I would.

Not great warmth wise.. you can uniqlo ULD jacket for $29.99 with some shipping or free shipping if buying more than $75. And I am comparing with a 600 fill power uniqlo ULD jacket. I also own a Patagonia, Eddie Bauer. And a 32 degree from Costco. Warmth wise this is the ranking.. EB, Uniqlo, Patagonia, 32 degree. Uniqlo is the best in terms of fitwise. I wear the 32 degree or Patagonia when there are some light drizzle.

The mens jacket with 4.9 rating out of 175 reviews is convincing, but contradicts with most of you saying here.

Their stuff is great!
Light, really warm and extremely well built.

"Extremely"? Seems like an over-estimation on this brand.

"Sufficiently" may be more adequate.

What would prompt you to make such a 'correction' on my comment? Would you have kept your objection to yourself if I said, "In my opinion..."?

Our family has had many of their products for years, wear them frequently, and have never had a problem with their durability. Zippers, snaps and other fasteners are heavy duty, never failed, and the down stays in the 'pockets' where it belongs.

12.99 Shipped for me on the down jacket with my rewards points.

I already have a gray one, so I went for the black. I really like the one I have, but I know it won't last super long, so good deal for me!

The same thing compels me to comment just as the same thing that compelled you. Nope—that would not have changed anything because by nature this is an open forum.
My opinion (as stated) is that while they are sufficiently constructed, they are nowhere near the quality of some higher-end brands.

Great jacket for the right purpose, I'm a fan of these for hiking/camping or keeping one in the car in an emergency bag.
For $20 you can't expect the same quality as $200 jackets, but it will also suck 1/10th as much when it gets caught on something and rips gets stained etc.

Exactly. This is pretty much the price at Costco all the time.

Are you new to SD? People correcting others with their opinion is pretty much what the comments are for.

I like 32 degrees, but I'm reluctant to jump on this because of the size. Let me explain. I own a 32 degrees rain jacket that I bought at Costco, and I'm happy with its quality; however, I'm a size M, and the jacket covers half my hand, so maybe I have short arms or something lol, but this is only with 32 degrees size M.
I'm afraid that if I get a size M jacket will be too long, the models wearing the jacket on the website are 6+ feet tall, and the jacket fits perfectly. I'm 5'8', so obviously, these jackets run kind of large.
If I go size S then it'll be tight on my shoulders/chest and perfect on my armshttps://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...questioned.gif
It's the biggest racket in the clothing industry, that sizing is dumbed down to a highest-common-denominator average so that there's always more material than less. It's just the financial accountants running the corporations, looking at profit margins, plain and simple. Sadly the only domain for inseams and sleeve lengths is fitted suits, even in the 21st century.

Does this still degrade like old sleeping bags? My goose fill sleeping bag is as warm as it was the first day I bought it but the synthetic kind has definitely lost its ability to keep me as warm.
