They just put up super bowl prices and they are dropping price. I am going in to see if they will price match.

As always they shut it down once it become popular. Most of the time they will just throw in delivery and some cables.
EDIT: This is now true while supplies last, as LG doesn't produce any more CXs so you can only get what's left.

edit: been following the big LG CX threads on SD to try to find the best deal and ended up grabbing at video only almost 2 weeks ago....wasn't able to get the price down from the $1799.99 sale. Set up was terrifying, thought for sure i was gunna snap the damn thing, and not gunna lie, pretty unimpressed with the TV, to the point im thinking about returning it
i dont have a next gen console or gaming PC and gaming on a PS4 with this thing looks like absolute dogsh*t....
game mode has amazing response time/low input lag but the quality of the game looks absolutely terrible(remember this is on a PS4). Can't play COD on any other picture mode or there is too much input lag. definitely having buyers remorse

They were more than willing to make a deal on the TV. Not sure if they were just desperate for a sale or what but it took all of 5 minutes to get that price. As far as returning to video only, once it's opened I believe you can only receive in store credit. They won't do refunds on open products

I was provided the extended warranty information slip (Warrantech) and the receipt mentioned 5 year warranty as well. This is from Mountain View store.
