Link for reference only. B&M only, Autozone web guys couldn't find it when I called but it was sitting on the shelf at the local store. Appears to be their regular price, not sure why they're $100 cheaper than any other seller. Maybe even cheaper with a coupon.
Boss Audio BE10ACP Digital Multimedia Receiver with (wired) Android Auto and CarPlay, 10.1" capacitive touchscreen, rear and front camera inputs, USB charging, removable and adjustable screen, external mic, etc.
Yeah, I know, Boss audio isn't known for high quality but for $250 out the door at your local Autozone, you're getting a LOT of bang for not much buck. I looked around and the closest big name that compares feature to feature is an Alpine unit that is $999. I've had it in my car for a few days and I'm very happy with it. So much so that I bought a second one for my wife's car. When I bought the second one, I mentioned that I was trying to buy it online as there was a discount available but it shows as in store only. The guy at the store gave me a 10% discount. YMMV.
Waiting on the install kit to be delivered so I can install hers. Single DIN so if you have double din like our cars, you'll need a kit with some kind of space filler. Crutchfield said it doesn't "fit" my car as but it went in using the same single DIN kit I got from them for the JVC (No screen or carplay and the Bluetooth was going out) I replaced with this one.
Crutchfield, Amazon, etc. all have this unit for $329. Good reviews at that price. For $100 less than that I imagine the reviews would be even better.
Unit comes with 3 year warranty from Boss. Autozone also gives a 1 year in store repair/replacement warranty with this unit. Details on your receipt.

Edit: Did the exact same thing this morning on my way to work around 45-50 minutes of use. Also, I can replicate it by unplugging the USB cable while Android auto is playing (screen goes blank for a quick second then it goes back to the home screen and makes a small beep). Cable is good but I'm going to try another one just in case. Could be some weirdness with the phone itself. Doesn't feel hot or anything though. Kind of leaning more towards the head unit. Maybe running the heat in the morning makes it overheat. Too many possibilities.
The only issues I've encountered so far are one of the pins on the screen getting bent because the hole for it in the connector cable just magically sealed itself off. Straightened the pin with a pair of tweezers and reopened the hole with the same tweezers, and my phone cable quit working so no CarPlay right now. Dummy me wasn't thinking and installed it behind the dash so I've got to take the radio out to get to the plug. I'll fix that at the same time I replace the cable.

Do you have a Pixel phone connected?

Similar type of symptoms. I changed the cable to a shorter one and it seamed to help a bit. I think it's something to do with the voltage of a USB-c connection, jams up the signals trying to initiate Android Auto. Thought it may have been the Pixel2, pixel 3, but sound like it's happening to others.
I ended up taking my old essential phone and keeping it plugged in and just running hotspot when I get it the car. Hasn't dropped since. I lost phone calling through the radio, but it's better than all the random restarts.

I've got a JVC with Android Auto. My biggest gripes are the resistive screen is terribly dim and too small (6.8") and it likes to interpret taps as scrolls. Other than that, it works great. JVC is one of the few brands that supports Honda Lanewatch as well. Now Android Auto itself? It's buggy as hell.
I'm not an audiophile. If I can get a bright, capacitive 10" screen with basic radio functions and AA for ~$200, I'll take it.
