I agree these are solids blades. I took down 2 7' pine trees with these things. Zipped right through the trunk and zipped through all the roots in the ground.

Nice. I just started using diablo blades and these pruning blades made quick work of the Christmas Tree this year. Haven't tried it on roots yet but good to know thanks.

Good deal. I think they always have this price for the two-pack online and ship-to-store. Sometimes it is in-store, but my HD is usually sold out. Great blades and 9" is good for branches up to 4". Any thicker and you'll need multiple cuts or a longer blade.

I had to cut down 7 palms in my backyard 4 months ago. They were all dying from some disease. Anyways I tried using a Stihl chainsaw and it took forever to cut one down cause the trunk was so saturated with water. I went and bought a 2 pack of these blades and they work pretty darn good. Largest width was probably 20 inches and it cut through it like butter with a super sawzall I had. I ended up cutting through the dirt with this also to get the root bulbs out also did a pretty good job.

I use these blades for trimming down cypress tree knees. Works well since I can go slightly under the ground.
