I have this same TV from Costco, but my biggest issue is the lack of hdmi 2.1 120hz support (as advertised) for ps5 and apparently owners are waiting for some Visio firmware update to get this fixed.... has anyone got insight on WHEN this firmware be released?

Got the P Quantum last month when it was on sale and also received an extra $100 refund for a delivery delay. Worth getting the X instead for an extra $280?

Do not buy Vizio anything this company does not deserve support from consumers. This company
won't stand behind it's own products. The customer service is terrible they are trained to tell the customer no and try to convince you that you are wrong. I bought a pqx 65" TV from vizio because of all the hype about how it was a great TV and a contender vs Samsung q80r. At the time this TV was was $1800 with a 1yr warranty. Within that 1 yr I had 4 tv's fail. on the forth time they refused to replace the TV stating that I was a couple days outside the warranty. Them knowing that they having problems with these tv's and acknowledging what was going on still tried to convince me that I was in the wrong and they had no reason to replace the unit. After much arguing they offered to replace it but not with the same model or something bigger or something better they offered to replace it with a regular p series TV and told me that was my only option. After asking to talk to that persons manager they told me they would replace it with the same model I bought but did not have any in stock. A manufacturer telling me they have non in stock!? they told me if I was ok with waiting for a while they would send me a replacement. after waiting 4 months and having no call back. I called them to go through this entire process again of them telling me they will not send me the same model I paid for (pqx 65"). Customer service is non existent the products are garbage. This is the problem with reviewers not reviewing products over time or releasing follow up videos. Vizio is a terrible company
$1800 wasted on a TV that won't last more than 4 months. I urge you people to steer clear of Vizio. Now it is 5 months later and I still don't have a reply from vizio. In the last 6 months they have rolled out 2 new versions of this model but they don't have a replacement for me. This is the bs that trash companies do. Do yourselves a favor and stick with Samsung and Lg.

So this is available at Costco? It seems to be the TV to get at this price point?

I have one of these. The picture is very, very nice. Unfortunately, the rest of it is crap. The OS sucks, there's no other way to say it. It crashes at times, it gives glitchy OS messages at times that have to be cleared by the remote, it's slower than molasses. It's generally a mess. I would NEVER, EVER recommend Vizio to anyone.
Might want to see if the OS can be reinstalled. I haven't updated mine yet and its been way smoother and faster than last years model quantum X's OS.

Picture wise it's a great tv. But OS leaves a lot to be desired. Constant crashes, errors, and other problems leads me to avoid it
As someone who has had two Hisense TVs, I've experienced the same issues. I picked up an nvidia shield and now I don't have any issues, other than backlight issues, but that's not related to the OS of the TV. Now the TV turns on and just works. I don't think I can use a tv any other way. This is the second nvidia shield I have as well.

Have the 75inch. Looks and works amazing. Got an open box certified at BB for $1500 mid December. Took home and ran every test you could think of with no issues. OS is snappy, vrr and freesync work perfectly, super bright, Dobly Vision looks awsome. Best tv purchase I have made. Glad I didnt settle for the X900H for $500 more!

Going to be going to best buy to look at this. Supposedly its the best you can buy right now for this price. I unfortunately smashed my vizio e series 2016 in a move, so need a new tv that won't break the bank.

Sure 75inch is more desirable but it costs so much to get there, for $1080 this is one hell of a deal on paper.

Chase freedom is extra 5% off tbe price and the extended warranty still applies since the warranty is 3 years. So 4 year warranty and 5% off makes this slick.

Distance between the feet is 50.87" if anyone is wondering.

Also, for the bad OS, that can be fixed by running off a $50 Google TV or fancy nVidia Shield Pro. Let the external device stream and be your interface. Smilie
Amen. Yes, OS sucks. But such an easy fix, and the picture quality is stunning.

That makes 3 of us. Either that or the Samsung 80t
If you go with Samsung, make sure you get an extended warranty. They tend to break within a month of the manufacturer's warranty expiring. And keep in mind that extended warranties usually only cover up to the purchase price of the TV, cumulatively, and once that's been spent, which is likely to happen quickly with Samsungs, you're SOL.

I can second this, only I have a 2018 P Quantum (top model ion 2018). I dont think Vizio has changed the internal processors in these P series line in a LONG time and it's really showing its age. I have constant issues with ours and this our 3rd unit after returning the 1st unit in 1st week then warranty claiming our 2nd unit after a year and a half (bought though Costco).

Blooming is pretty noticeable, pretty random frustrating crashes and power cycling it will do, the internal app interface is utterly useless and frustrating to use so dont even try it, among other issues I've had (HDMI ARC never has worked with sound bar).

Vizio makes a very good performing tv for the price but you sacrifice big time in quality/reliability. I wont be buying another vizio, which is a shame because an old 32" 1080p Vizio I gave to a friend is still running great after a decade almost now but my 2 year old P series Quantum has just been so frustrating.
