Check reviews/questions on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Non-Glare-Super-Narrow-Bezel/dp/B083K17XLF/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=msi+g271&qid=1611785998&sr=8-2

People said yes, but I could not find documentation confirming it, other than people saying many MSI monitors now support G-SYNC and Freesync.

I've had this monitor for ~1 year. Personally have not seen the dead pixel issue affect me, but have a friend who saw 4 dead pixels after 6 months of purchase.

Personally would save and look for a 1440p monitor in retrospect, but if ur on the hunt for a 1080p monitor and are willing to gamble on a few dead pixels it's worth the money.
What's a good price on a 27" gaming monitor with 1440p, 144 Hz refresh and 1 ms response time? What I've seen is usually over $300. Wonder if I should wait for that, or get this one.

Work for ps5 120hz (on 1080p)?
Ps5 needs hdmi 2.1 in order to see 120 hz.

I can confirm, you can do 1080p @ 120hz since it's hdmi 1.4b
See this link for all msi monitors

(I wish I could post pics to show you proof)
Hope this helps

(edit: hdmi 2.1 is for 4k 120hz or 8k 60hz, we can only imagine the price for those monitors Smilie)

If you can handle a few ms more response time, there's this at Costco https://www.costco.com/acer-27%22...11606.html

I'm going to get this one myself once it's on sale

I bought this @ Costco on 11/26/20 Black Friday for $170 same price I am using this for my Xbox Series X and it does the 120FPS well.

I've noticed this issue and it's happened 3 different times now, I can't narrow if it is the console, monitor, hdmi or the game itself

But I've noticed that on fortnite in the lobby only the screen flickers it's happened twice so far.

Just today on GTA V Online again I dont know what it is that's causing it but for about 3-5mins while I was playing I noticed it flicker again but differently then fortnite.

Either way I really like this monitor but am really in the market for a monitor with these
I don't have the money for a 4K 120 2.1 monitor as they are so new and expensive and not many monitors exist yet.

specs
1440p
144hz
1ms
ips panel
Free sync
HDR
hdmi 2.0 support

How long does Costco do a price adjustment? It says 30 days on their website but their return policy is 90 days so you could theoretically just return and rebuy.
With their customer satisfaction policy, probably within a year.

No its hdmi 1.4.

You need something hdmi 2.0 or higher.
HDMI1.4 is good enough for 144hz

Are monitors covered under 2+2 warranty? The website doesn't seem to mention.

Which laptops have a display port?
Connect Displayport to a usb hub or docking station. Then have that hub connect via USB C type 3 or thunderbolt to your laptop. Your laptop should have a high end USB C or you won't be able to get the 144hz or 120hz off a monitor. ppl say hdmi works but I spent weeks without success. save yourself frustration and just set up with DP.

IMO 27" is too big for 1080p resolution, but otherwise nice specs and a good deal.

I agree I think 1440P with HDR is better but wish they had these specs for a 1440p hdr 27" for 250-300~ I'd buy. This monitor is great though I have it.
