This saw is incredible. I won't need another circular saw ever. I'm in the middle of framing up a room in our attic, and this thing has been great. The 4x batteries were well worth it.

I will say it is heavy at around 13 lb(with batteries) versus my old skilsaw that weighs in at around 10lbs. I got the rear handled version but may have been better off getting the top handle as the weight would be more controllable. feels very similar and probably a little bit lighter than the worm drive skill saws that I've held in the past. Though it is not a worm drive saw as the motor comes directly off the blade.
In the end you're essentially paying $50 for the saw and getting four 5 amp hour batteries for less than $10 an amp hour and you're getting a free dual charger that's probably worth 50 to 100 bucks by itself. Oh and a basic duffle bag.
