First deal post! Also first time I've seen a QLED of this size at this price point. Description at walmart.com says "Features our QLED Nanocrystals technology resulting in a super vivid color and contrast experience. The Quantum Processor features a powerful processor to optimize screen brightness and sound control. Quantum dot display boasts 100 - percent colour volume to bring you living color in both Bright and dark scenes.". I wanted an inexpensive 65" to replace the older 43" in our den area. Saw some other 65s had been posted around the $400 price point here and heard that Hisense recently upgraded to quantum dot technology in its H8G series. While I couldn't find a 65" of that particular model at a similar price point, I stumbled upon this one which looks quite comparable and has my preferred Roku OS as well. Hope this is useful to others here!

All you need to do is look at the price for your answer

Even if it did I suspect a couple of things

1. It doesn't get bright enough for you to take advantage of it
2. The panel uniformity and color accuracy will be very poor

But hey...You should have the expectations for the price

Is 60hz bad for watching sports or it's only bad for gaming?

I went from a TCL 55" with Native 120hz and then got a 65" with 60hz Motion 120, and everything I watch, anytime there was a camera pan it was all blurry. I couldn't stand it. Ended up selling it and buying a Motion Rate 240 in hopes it's better.

I bought it, just received it today. The box and paperwork says quantum dot technology. Picture seems decent, I don't really have any complaints for the price after very limited use (streaming an episode of The Expanse)

Ditto, got it today. Box is marked QLED, 4K UHD, HDR10 with Dolby sound.

When using with streaming, OTA broadcast and satellite this TV seems to have much better colors and visual details than the majority of the regular LCDs out there. It has ok to better than average speakers. We like the built in Roku interface with a somewhat easy setup but Roku might not be for everyone. Not sure how it will do with live sports/video games or the lifespan but this seems much better than my 4 year old 55" LCD panel; esp for the price. Thanks OP, Repoed!

Got it coming today, your review is what i want to hear, the biggest problem now with QLED is the SDE Effect, try a all grey background and you'll see dark corners and yellow edges like on my TCL 65S535 and Hisense 65H9F, Hoping today I'll win the panel lottery and save some buck's as those other's are going back to Walmart

How has your experience with the TV been?

I'm not noticing much of that effect myself. On a gray screen (Amazon Prime Video loading screen) there is some lack of uniformity, but nothing extreme and I definitely don't notice any problems when watching content. I keep looking for something to dislike about this TV in order to justify upgrading to something like the TCL 6-series, but honestly I can't justify the price difference in my case. Probably the only thing I would really apreciate is the native 120Hz over the RCA 60Hz for smoother movement onscreen, but I don't notice it after awhile and I can live with it for another few years until the price point on 120Hz native comes down.

120 has "been around" since 3D came out in 2007/8. In reality it's been around much longer then that but can't seem to get people to buy into something that doesn't make a noticeable difference for the vast majority of people on the planet...... So they put on high end tv's as a reason to jack up an already overpriced item that most people don't care about..... Most these things are just gimmicks to make more profit and has very little to do with giving your average consumer what they need.

The Tv is alot better than the TCL 65s535 I returned , it's pretty bright and compared to my Hisense 65H9F, pretty close, the HDR detail was slightly better, for 450 def a good TV
