The Eufy 2k Pan & Tilt model is back on sale for $40, matching the last popular FP deal.
I have this camera and it's awesome. Doesn't really get cheaper than this.

Can it be linked to Alexa Routine so it would make alarm sounds when motion is detected?

Do these work well with blue iris? I see that the Rtsp stream drops to 1080, is this the case with blue iris as well? If not I'm all in lol

Curious how you all are powering these outside? Extension cord? Solar? Id love to see pictures if possible. I spent almost a grand on Canary cameras when they launched. They constantly drop connection and they have taken features away over time without subscription. I want to replace them all but don't want extension cords all over the place. Any help is appreciated.

*edit* I forgot to ask, can anyone speak to the security of these? Any issues with them recording while in "home/off" mode? Concerns about unauthorized monitoring or control?

Thanks!

A tip for those who have an Orbi mesh router and experience issues connecting to the camera. Granted I have a homebase since I also owned their doorbell. Originally I connect the homebase wirelessly and have constant disconnects and timeouts when trying to connect to my cameras. As soon as I connect my homebase to one of my satellite via a network cable all issues went away and has been rock solid since.

I have it doing continuous record. I have a zone setup for alerts, but I can look back through it all. 128GB card and I think I have like 20-30 days of recordings for full 24/7 at 2k. Not sure, never went back that far. One downside, the scrubbing on the app is crap. Also, no live view of multiple cameras at once as far as I can tell. Otherwise, phenomenal for the price.

This is an excellent POE camera for the price, it's rated for outdoor use if that matters and has micro sd recording but does not offer pan/tilt.

Hi, how do you wire the cams, do you use an extra lengthy USB wire?
Thanks

Amazon also has the 2c 2 piece set for 169.99. May have been lower, but it typically hovers around 199.99. I've been watching for awhile now.

Unfortunately not for these indoor cams. Eufy has not been responsive on this request

If you have outdoor bulbs, can buy a socket to power (or usb) adapter. Otherwise, long usb from inside the house

As I mentioned before I got 4 of these at the same price, got a friend also on board. Happy with the purchase. You have various settings including geofencing etc. Never used it though. Has home and away modes. Local storage so dont have to pay for stupid subscription. So go for it, jump all over it, or whatever it takes Smilie
Waiting for the door bell deal on 2k, then I am going to ditch nest Big Grin, I saw an SD post for 1k for 95.99.
