i dont have this particular set, but my child was gifted with the big bag.
quality is TERRIBLE. it's very cheaply made, plastic very thin. worst thing is the blocks don't stay intact! my baby is 18 months, she was able to put some together and it fell apart in her hands.
never again mega blocks. cannot compare anything to Lego or even leap frog blocks.
I grabbed one. My kid is 14 months and he likes it. I'll upgrade to Lego later on but the build quality on this isn't terrible for $10. Anything that keeps them occupied for a few minutes is worth it IMO.
