The impact driver is also on sale for $89/99... If you are going to get both, might be better to wait for the package deal which often comes with an extra free tool such as the 3/8 ratchet for $189/199

Not only that but usually one of the batteries is an XC 4.0.

I just used this to drill holes for a toilet flange. It took a while to drill 3/16" one inch hole with a brand new bit. But it seemed to work well. I'm no expert, but the last hammer drill I used seemed to have a harder "hammer" to it. The milwaukee didn't seem to "hammer" as hard as I expected. But I'm a n00b.

Gen 2 not as good as gen 1. I think Gen 3 of this drill is coming.

We're you going into concrete? If it was tile then you're lucky it didn't crack with hammerdrill function. Performance for tile depends on bit and if water was used to cool it down as well as what type of tile it is. Good porcelain won't give easy time regardless of the bit but medium to low speeds are best otherwise you just end up burning up the bit.
