Looks decent. I haven't checked if there's a GCam for it, that would be great. 4 GB RAM, full hd (only LCD but not surprising), nfc, camera ois.

Only $105 open box excellent at best buy

It's not getting Android 11, and who knows how long it would be getting the security updates. This is what I hate about Moto phones...

The beauty of getting these unlocked Motos is that they'll work on all US carriers. This Moto G7 Plus does not.Frown I picked one up from the BB $70.00 deal and sold it 3 days later. Keep in mind that you can get a One Action for this same price if your local BB has them in stock and you use the $100.00 Tracfone/Simple Mobile Promo.

I have one of these and it is a very unique phone. Here are some observations. I will leave it to you to decide if these are good or bad things.
  • This phone is really the Revvelry+ that moto made for t-mobile and has simply been re-branded to a moto phone
  • It isn't in LSMA so certain types of recovery aren't possible with it
  • It isn't on any of Motorola's support lists and isn't clear if it will continue to get updates
  • Supports VoLTE and WiFi calling on t-mobile
  • Supports VoLTE but not WiFi calling on at&t
  • There is no support from Verizon. It is theoretically possible you could get it working on Verizon if you convinced them to add the IMEI and do a cdma-less activation. I no longer have a postpaid Verizon account to try this and most mvno's won't be able/willing to do this.
  • It does support NFC
  • In light to moderate usage it held up fine, was responsive
  • It is difficult to find cases that match the camera cutout on the back. I am using a case that has a mismatched camera cutout and it works fine but it might bother some people
  • The bootloader can be unlocked
  • It supports lineage although in extremely limited testing I noticed some oddities like the small led on the front never shutoff
  • I couldn't find a way to put the factory firmware back on this phone because the factory firmware doesn't seem to exist anywhere for download for this exact model

If anyone has questions about this device I am glad to try to answer them.

I thought that if a phone supported ATT, it supported ATT's MVNOs. This says it it doesn't. Can someone explain?

I bought it at BB for $70 and can confirm Moto basically restamped an existing phone. I'll add if you're looking for a case don't even search for G7 Plus as every case will show a round camera cutout which this phone does not have. I bought a Revvlry Plus case and still had to cut the oval out more. I swear only Moto would have an existing phone and change it.

Moto doesn't officially list it as supported but I tested it with a Red Pocket AT&T sim and it did work and support volte.

I don't understand why some of you are complaining about the availability of case for this phone. Do you mean you just don't like the styles available? I found quite a few at Amazon.com. Here is just one.

You're missing our point. That case won't fit. The camera is no longer round. Look at the second pic of the back camera and the fourth picture. I'll add the front is still the same so glass screen protectors will work but for a case you have to buy a Revvlry + case and even that's a hit or miss.

Guess Motorola is trying to clear this model because the Moto G9 was already released.

I bought a cheap $3 clear gel case for G7 from Amazon and made the lens cutout/opening a little bigger using Dremel. Everything else including all the other cutouts fits perfectly.
