I find it funny that people are complaining about the warranty on a $4 cable. Surely your time is more valuable then spending 30 minutes trying to figure out a warranty claim. These cables are cheap, not designed for a lifetime, and disposable. Get a new one and move on.
Their warranty service has degraded so far, they haven't responded to my request over a month ago at the first step which is waiting for a email on RMA.

That's interesting. I bought a cable from them in 2015 and logged into my account and requested a replacement (under the warranty) and got an email a few days later asking if a cable substitute was ok. I said yes, and then the next week they asked for my address to ship it to me. To my knowledge, It hasn't been shipped yet , but so far it seems to be working.
Did you buy it directly from monoprice and request it through your original order?

Did they ask you to send them back? I want to know if I should start looking for some of mine that stopped working. I remember keeping them months ago to eventually claim the warranty but never ended up getting around it.

So far they haven't. But I don't know if they will or if it was that my cable was bought 5 years ago so they don't ask for it if it's over a certain number of years old. They didn't mention anything so far about returning the cable. I still have it just in case they do. I hope that helps.

I've claimed many warranty from them and all transactions are done within a reasonable time. If the product is no longer available, they will offer you with either similar product or a store credit refund on future purchases.
In all the incidents, I just provided them a picture of the broken cable, that's all. I'll not hesitate to purchase from Monoprice.

I'm glad it worked well. Did they give you a tracking number for the new cable in those cases?
thanks

I've never got a email, and yes I bought it from monoprice directly. A few of the cables in my order has been replaced a few times but as of recently, nothing. It was easy in the past.

That's odd. Maybe the system will let you try it again?
