These are terrible. Got em for the same price for the Note 20 Ultra and they were sticky and unusable. Returned em for the small refund haha.

Samsung stopped shipping their phones with a pre-installed screen protector since after the S10 series in US. The vides or posts you have seen for the S21 series with screen protectors are from other regions and not the US.

the S20+ I got directly from Samsung last month comes preinstalled with a screen protector.

Fwiw I used this same brand on my current s20 and sought out the same for my s21. Purchased before I even saw the SD post. No issue with the current one so I'll use again

The S20 and S20+ comes with a flat screen and for flat screens PET plastic is the easiest to install and does not require wet install. The TPU film also scratches on the surface the same way the PET does, they all do. However at this price it's good to get it as a backup even if you never use it because this will most likely be 7-10 when the phone is out and if you need it then you're paying a premium.

edit: for the ultra this type of screen protector is actually better than the PET since it has edges; however, it's a pain to get the edges to stick but it should be easier since the curves are less pronounced than previous versions of the phone.

I bought two packs and they were both sticky with extreme orange peel effect. Felt thick and squishy.

The film activates with the water and detergent solution and that's what makes it stick to the screen . It's supposed to be sticky, but it won't leave a residue on your phone if you remove it.

Was it unlocked or a specific carrier? I think carrier versions stopped coming with the preinstalled protector.

T-Mobile version.
I installed a TPU film on top of it, and it felt a little oily, and you could see all the fingerprints.
Removed it a week after. I like the factory installed PET better,
