Got really excited by that price and because I know obviously know and trust Newegg. I don't like that the gift card is tied only to Newegg.com though and it expires in 365 Days. Buydig's promo is still the most enticing.

This is likely a good time to buy an OLED, the next gen OLED are mostly an incremental upgrade (if not buying the G-series).

Based on past experience and sales, the best time is usually start of summer and Memorial day sales when OLEDs are being cleared for new inventory.

Keep holding out. Prices will continue to drop. B&H has offered this set through B2B for $2,878 for like 6 months now. I anticipate most consumer retailers will reach this price in just a few more weeks.
