Curious about ease of use. My biggest gripe with Davinci Resolve is that the learning curve is as steep as it gets. I felt like I had to google every single thing I wanted to do. I miss Windows Movie Maker.
You might consider giving Shotcut a try. Totally free and very easy to use.
Have been using Pinnacle Studio for quite some time and frankly you won't find a better deal, so even if you plan on using any of this offer once, it already has paid for itself multiple times over. Sure there are many 'free' alternatives, but each has its compromises.
Upgraded my Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 23 as well as took a shot at Painter to play with it. Everything including MuitiCam, downloaded and validated fine.
I'm not an artist (my daughter is), but I've found Painter to be pretty amazing over the years. The ways that the software can emulate the medium (oils smearing together, watercolor seeping into the paper) was amazing years ago. Back then it taxed the CPU, but nowadays I don't see any issues. This is last years version, but for $30, it's certainly worth it. Get yourself an inexpensive digitizing table (XP-Pen Deco or alike) and you can have some fun.
(I only wish I had that artistic "spark")
Thank you for the information. I picked up the XP Pen Deco 01 V2 with a 20% off coupon from Amazon. That coupled with the Painter software means I will be father of the year for at least a week to my kid who loves to draw.

Not sure it matters in your case, but XP-Pen does offer wireless options (but can be wired if needed) at a similar price point. Started looking myself just to play with Painter.
For those who might be interested, after a bunch of searching and reviewing, I ended up with the following Graphics Drawing tablet, which was just released this month:
Interestingly enough since it was being sold by XP-Pen (but fulfilled by Amazon), I was able to get next day delivery and no tax.
In my case, I wanted something smaller that also had wireless (it has a dongle, but would have preferred bluetooth). Given that it is so new, there aren't a lot of reviews, but it is very similar to the previous non-wireless XP-PEN Deco mini7 (no W) which was well received.
For anyone on Macs that is considering Corel Painter 2020 - it doesn't work properly under Big Sur, and Corel doesn't look to be releasing an update to fix it. Their suggestion is to upgrade to 2021, which they are supporting. https://support.corel.com/hc/en-u...0-Big-Sur-
And as already previously mentioned - lots of "Upgrade" pop-ups from their software. Have to stop some services they install otherwise every day you'll get a lovely ad pop-up suggesting an upgrade to their new version.
For anyone on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 with a surface pen, Painter 2020 doesn't support pen pressure and tilt for it. Corel tech support said they were working on it but never happened. The latest update is 450 days ago. Surface Pro 7 had no issues with other drawing software so I think the problem is from Corel painter.

Whenever I enable AMD hardware acceleration the preview video and encoded video is jumbled. If I disable it, it works perfectly.
Might be a driver issue but not sure. Anyone else with AMD cpu & gpu have this issue?
Running Ryzen 3600 w/ 5700XT.
