When MS had Signature Edition PCs they were free of bloatware but who knows now that that program quietly disappeared at some point.
There is a fresh start option that removes all that crap that's not part of windows now.. that's why they got rid the signature program with win 10

This works with any win 10 pc

If it's from MS store. Does it still come with HP bloatware?
You can always install the clean version of Windows. It's the first thing i do after buying a new laptop. Well i also delete the recovery partition and add that extra space to the total user space.

That being said not all bloatware is useless. From my experience HP laptops come with 1 year, 25 gb Dropbox space. I always take an advantage of this promo and then install the clean version of windows using the usb stick method.

When you clean install the windows it'll be already activated and you don't have to worry about activation. Windows will install all necessary drivers for you automatically.

Could this play PUBG?
Only on 1280x720 low settings. i5-1135G7 Xe graphics is roughly equal to a 940M.

Not sure why they don't say Pavilion, which is their entry level.
That is because this laptop is below their pavilion. If you see it in person the computer looks like shit but runs really well. The screen is not that good either. This laptop is for someone who just wants speed but doesn't care about the premium build features other laptops have like 2in1, high res screen and a back lit keyboard

I currently use my hp envy (the one from black friday in 2019, what a steal!) and it works fine. The specs on on the envy is better but for solidworks and a slicer should be fine. I use cura and preform daily. But if youre 3d scanning, forget about it.

You understand HP is the manufacturer and MS is just the seller, right? It's the same laptop purchased anywhere and whatever HP puts inside it.
At one point MS sold OEM computers that were free from any shovelware at their stores and online. Not sure if they still do this, but it's a valid question.
