What the hell? Just make your own waffles. A waffle maker would take up less space than that box. And cost less.

These are really good. We have the 16-pack of original Belgian Boys waffles at our local Costco for $6.99...get them every time we go. The ones we get don't need to be refrigerated/frozen...not sure if these are the same?

Even the "natural" (most b.s. food term ever invented) branded bread I buy at the grocery store lasts 2 months past expiration in the fridge...

Spoken by someone who has clearly never had an actual Belgian waffle or looked up the recipe. They're made with a brioche dough (requiring lots of eggs, butter, sugar) and pearl sugar, which runs around $10/lb. Plus, these follow the traditional yeast dough recipe, so in addition to costly ingredients, it takes several hours to proof. When you consider the time + cost, this isn't really not a bad deal.

According to Woot, the chocolate variety has a short "best by" date of Feb. 28. Granted, since these are individually wrapped and full of sugar and preservatives, they should keep a while past that. But something to keep in mind. Someone else commented about refrigerating, but I'm pretty sure these are shelf-stable.

Please note: Our Belgian Waffles are sent from our refrigerated warehouse, and may arrive frozen or unfrozen —both are perfectly normal and safe to consume. These will arrive separately from our non-refrigerated items.
