I think all chairs sold by staples are covered by a 5-year warranty, I have 3 of these and have never had a problem replacing parts for free.
Do they honor pealing leather?

Have this exact chair, pretty much an average chair all around, not horrible for under $100. If you're a hefty fella, this chair is great since it's super wide.

Bought this chair for my teenager a year ago when at this price (and had a coupon) and he loved it then and still loves it today. COUNTLESS hours using it for gaming and home schooling. I'm SHOCKED it has lasted this long with much abuse. Still looks good and in fine shape.

Can anyone recommend a good work chair for a tall fellow? I am heeding the warning here, and avoiding this chair. I work remotely 100% of the time now, like many other people. I would pay 5x the price if it was comfortable and didn't press into my lower back. I have mild sciatica which has been more of a PITA since working from home. I don't need or want real leather, unless there is some advantage; fabric seems fine. Reviews everywhere are BS. Seems like some knowledgeable people here.

Steelcase Gesture is great. Lots of adjustment capabilities. Been using for a year super solid

Staples is deceptive. I ordered this chair then needed to cancel. Staples gives you only 30 minutes to cancel and no way on the website to do so. When I phoned them the next morning, they spouted the useless 'we apologize for any inconvenience' but you can only cancel in the first 30 minutes after ordering. When I explained there is no way to cancel on their website, they changed tune and said they would try to send a 'do not deliver' message to the driver 'but in case it shows up anyway you'll need to call us back' and we'll try to help you get it returned, and any potential refund will take 7-10 business days. That's a lot of maybe's and all the onus is on the customer. What a load of crap from a store that markets themselves as "world class customer service".

I tried this in store and I thought it was comfortable but how long will it last is the question.
It's a $100 chair... it will probably last 3 years with moderate use. If you want something that will last longer, buy a $500 chair.

You can't go wrong with a Herman Miller Aeron. I have one and it is great. However, I also have a HON Ignition 2.0 Chair that I bought in September 2020. It is also MADE IN USA (not all HON Models are though) and extremely comfortable (has adjustable lumbar, sliding seat, adjustable height arms) for WFH all day long. I bought the mesh back with vinyl cushion and got it at Office Express (a Michigan retailer of office furniture) for $300. I thought it was important to "try it on" and was able to do so physically in the store. I was upfront with the rep and told him I was willing to pay a few dollars more to a brick and mortar than Amazon, so that I could see the chair. He came through for me. By the way, the last time I looked, Amazon was up to around $329 on my chair. So I lucked out, and am really happy with the HON Ignition 2.0 chair.

As someone who owns this chair, don't. You will need this because they designed the base poorly https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:970478 also the welding on the adjuster is crap.

Staples no longer offering to add protection plan. Generally it used to offer after we add items to the cart.
Am i missing something?
