But...I have also bought things..... from time to time.... that I thought would be awesome....and it turned out to be a PIA. So I went back to the old way. Do that enough times and it will not matter if it would be handy or not. It will still be lost in all the other good ideas that were purchased.
I am really not trying to be argumentative..... I am really not. But I am trying to envision when I would ever be trying to level something in the dark. I have to think that I would have pulled out a light, maybe one of those dozen or so head lamps that I have....or maybe the Ridgid shop light...etc. I just feel that if I cant see the bubble, then I can't see what else that I am doing either. And if I were really trying to do all that leveling in darker conditions, I think I would prefer the self-leveling, red light laser across the wall. Also, I can't figure out why seeing the level go green would be better than seeing the bubble go between the lines. I do wonder if adding the extra step of calibrating would also add a possible error.
And trust me...if there is a new way to find an error, it will be me that finds it.
But I suppose it is possible that you guys are doing some sort of work that I had not considered.
Hey.....I am willing to entertain the idea that I am wrong in this.
If you get one, let me know how it goes after you have used it for a while and if you think it makes going level easier.
