Yes. Water is more important than food and anything else to her. She asked me to take her to hiking and camping some times on our first date 3 years ago. Guess what, she never even tried the hiking boots I bought for her. Reason is she asks me "is there water on the mountain that I can take shower or wash my hands?"

FWIW, my wife showers daily but only washes her hair every other day. Your wife is most likely washing essential oils out of her hair if she is washing it twice daily and damaging her hair.
