How do they hold up as in assembly and wiggle? The last thing I need is my 10yo who can't hand write legibly to save his life needing to deal with a wobbly desk as he writes.

I agree with you. My L-shaped computer table bought from Staples many years ago is just slightly deeper at 20.5" but it has a sliding keyboard tray which has worked out perfectly for me.

It is weird that this one does not have a keyboard tray.

I own this. At this price id say it's worth it. The quality is good, not great. It does the job. I would say the only real con I have is that I can't mount a drawer underneath because of the hardware, and I keep hitting my legs on the table legs when I swivel to get up. Other than that I like the table a lot.
I have two monitors (27"/32") on monitor arms attached to the table, as well has various chargers/docks (phone/game controllers/etc) as well as the standard mouse/keyboard/keypad. I also have a boom mic arm and as well as a flexible light mounted to the table. I don't have an concern about it holding all that. I would recommend monitor arm mounts as the stands to certain monitors may take up too much space.

No. I tried that. You cant put your legs comfortably under the table if you put the monitor in the corner part. I would recommend a mount arm or to mount your monitor to the wall and put the desk under it if you're concerned with space.

Yeah the shelf is nearly useless. I put remotes and a post it pad on mine.

Bought one from staples in 2006: L shape desk temper-glass with 24" depth with drawer and keyboard tray,Stills using it.
Was $140 with promo at that time😁.
Sturdy and thick feet and beams.

This desk particle/compose board is not thick for arm mounting. It would crack in the long run.

My suggestion to add extra base-plywood beneath the clamp.
But if you plan to use longer than4-5 years...

Its held up since April 2020, Dont put a plain piece of paper as the top laminate has wood pattern that will affect penmanship. My kids use these for math workbook work and taking notes in a notepad with no issues. I hope this helps.
